They were pink and the highlight of his face followed by his flushed colored cheeks. Alex nodded at him in response then looked away. It didn’t last long though as his gaze returned to him the moment he heard him speak again. “Um,” he voiced out, Alex attention’s completely shifting to him. He licked his lips then ran his hands through his hair before shoving the hands into his hoodie’s pocket. Just like him, Alex noticed he was putting on a hoodie, his a dark almost black color. “Yeah?” “Are,” he took his hands out of his pocket to run them around his hair. He had long obviously dyed hair as the roots were beginning to rebel, that seemed like they needed a trim but still looked good regardl

There’s a sweetness to this story that I like. Not for those who prefer gratuitous or explicit sex scenes. It’s straightforward without any unnecessary and weird plots or twists. Glad I gave it a chance - thanks author.

Paperwork and Hearthbeats

Paperwork and Hearthbeats

“What are you thinking for the stormy aesthetic?” Harper asked curiously, holding up the deep winter swatches which include the colours: midnight, olive, expresso, silver, grey, charcoal, mocha, wine, brick red, ruby, Boysen berry, fuschia, magenta, mustard, honey, Ocea, dark green, forest, jungle, royal purple, mulberry, purple, royal blue, Aegean, and ceru lean. Knox snatched the swatches from her hand, spreading them across the desk like he was dealing a winning hand in a high-stakes game. His parrot green eyes darted over then, his lips moving silently as he processed each colour. “Stormy aesthetic,” he repeated, tasting the words. "Aye, it's got tae feel heavy. Atmospheric. No' just dar

Claimed by the Wildwoods Pack: Her Triad Fate

Claimed by the Wildwoods Pack: Her Triad Fate

She leaned her head back into Brecc’s shoulder and glanced around. The room had changed. Everything had gone from the light yellow to different shades of purple. The curtains had changed texture into thick, woven drapes. Gold and fuchsia patterns became visible in the material as she watched. The walls took on a dark purple color, almost black. Her lights dimmed. Everything in the room screamed romance and sex. Even a quick glance at the bedding showed the plain quilt had turned into a shiny satiny purple. She swore any second now Barry White would start singing ‘Let’s get it on’. “Do you like it? Do you want more?” Brecc growled.

BILLIONAIRE ALPHA'S ACCIDENTAL SURROGATE

BILLIONAIRE ALPHA'S ACCIDENTAL SURROGATE

“That’s not a color. It’s a shade.” I rolled my eyes. “Fine, Mr. Technical.” He tilted his head. “What about you?” “Purple,” I answered easily. “I love all shades of it, but especially dark purple.” Kai nodded, like he was storing that information away somewhere in his mind. “My turn,” he said, shifting slightly so he was facing me more. His silver eyes glowed faintly in the dim light, and for some reason, it made my stomach flip. I swallowed, trying to act normal. “Go ahead.”

“Okay! What about the other colors? We could do two or three. I don’t really mind either way, but I feel like two lighter colors would look better.” I nodded in agreement and flipped through more pages. “Here!” I exclaimed, showing him a page. “We could do a light yellow and grey with it.” Zarek wrinkled his nose. “I like the grey, but the yellow… it doesn’t feel right.” “What about this color?” I pointed to a peach shade, softer and less vibrant. “It seems like a good background color.” Zarek’s lips curled into a smile. “If we find flowers like this, they’d look so pretty with the green!” He paused, considering the grey again. “But could we do white instead of grey? The grey feels gloomy.”

Design of Fate

Design of Fate

Everyone definitely outdid themselves. Rows of crème satin were dropped in arches from the ceiling. Those were crisscrossed with rows of colorful flowers. The Fae put up white, silver, and gold light orbs. There were amazing floral decorations set around the room. The stage was set with two thrones that would then be relocated to the throne room after this. An archway that was designed with draped with black and white satin was the backdrop to it. Black and white were the primary colors associated with the Precoza coven because it was another homage to the duty of them to bring a balance to the vampire world while ensuring that they were brought from the dark and into the light.

I have enjoyed the supernatural diversity in this universe. I thoroughly enjoyed the author's take on Fae as seen through "Fated Soul - Fated Light". I loved learning about the Nabellos and sphinxes in "Fated Power - Fated Destiny". My favorite are the vampires in this book.

I love all of the books in the Fated universe. I am loving this sequel even more than I loved 'His Hunt For Redemption'. Jackson and Zeus are perfect for Imeela. I also love all of the twists and turns when it comes to dealing with the Precoza coven. I can't wait for Kalen's story next.

Contracted to the Uncrowned King

Contracted to the Uncrowned King

Violet The grand doors to the banquet hall swung open, and the hum of voices swelled into a roar. I held my head high, schooling my expression into one of serene confidence as Theodore and I walked in together. The crowns of light still lingered, drawing everyone’s attention. The banquet hall of Midnight Park was nothing short of opulent. Theodore hadn’t spared any expense for it. Crystal chandeliers cast soft, glittering light over the room, and the tables were adorned with Midnight blue and Darkmoon violet linens, all trimmed with silver. I remembered my wedding with Lucas, which had primarily been Darkmoon colors, at my father’s insistence. I had always felt bad about Twining River not be

Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master

By the time they arrived, it had already gotten pretty dark, and most of the lights in the area had been dimmed out. Regardless, upon entering the building, she was left momentarily too stunned to even speak. Though the inside was mostly dark, a single ray of light shone atop a magnificent purple gown! The color itself was known to symbolize elegance and maturity, and upon closer inspection, Xavia realized that the dress’s buttons were in the shape of Aplos’s national logo.

The Billionaire's Regret

The Billionaire's Regret

“But we can control what they see once the door closes.” The slide shifted. A hilltop view, textural walls, simple-line seating, a color palette more “sea salt and burned wood” than “vanilla latte.” “I deliberately avoided all-white everything,” I explained. “White is cruel. It highlights every stain and makes people feel like guests in their own home. We’re using off-whites, warm neutrals, but with texture and dimension. Quiet luxury doesn’t mean being afraid of character.” Claire nodded slightly, fingers tapping something off-screen. “I like this,” she said. “It’s not… Instagrammable in a cheap way. But if photographed, people will still know this place is expensive.”

Sweet Little Temptation

Sweet Little Temptation

Finally, I pulled my over-ear Bluetooth headphones out of my pocket and slipped them on, completely shutting out the quiet hum of the mansion. I opened my phone, swiped past the blocked notifications from Dylan without a single ounce of regret, and pulled up my absolute mess of a playlist. I needed something that matched the strange, electric energy buzzing under my skin. I pressed shuffle, and the loud, heavy beat of a Korean rap track immediately exploded in my ears, the rhythm commanding, aggressive, and fast. Perfect. I squeezed a massive dollop of deep, velvety crimson onto the palette, followed by stark ivory, midnight black, and a rich, shimmering gold. My taste in aesthetics had alwa
