Athena hummed in her chest, steady as always, reminding her that chaos only meant opportunity for balance. And then, on a lower ledge, the girl appeared. She didn’t flinch at the thunder. Didn’t cower from the lightning. She stood in perfect stillness, hair whipping around her face, eyes wide but unafraid.
