Aurelian did not respond. “You allowed interference.” Silence. Then the Archangel’s gaze shifted. To Kaelith. “You are the cause.” Kaelith placed a hand lightly over his chest. “Wow. Straight to blame. I like it.” The Archangel raised its hand. The realm responded. From nothing, a weapon formed. A whip. Not physical. Not entirely. It burned with a flame that did not flicker, did not spread, but consumed everything it touched. Its edges dissolved into mist, trailing something that did not belong to any known element.

Two flames. And me, caught in the middle, already burning.

“The creatures we just fought… they were just a part of something bigger. Something far darker. The Flame you carry isn’t the only one of its kind.” I blinked, the words sinking in slowly. “What do you mean?” “The Flame,” he continued, his voice low, “it’s not just a weapon. It’s a key. Taking a sip of water from the cup on the table and sitting it back down after swallowing I continued “I also find it hurtful to know that my best friends the ones that’s closest to me not only didn’t believe that I couldn’t handle to job and all it comes with especially since this isn’t my first time working in a damn firehouse but also thought that I couldn’t protect myself like I was a damsel in distress or something. I want you both to get this through your heads when I tell you this. You can’t keep me from danger, danger is everywhere this isn’t my first day on this damn earth. This kind of fire can burn a person even if they are in armor.” “There are different kinds of fires?” Anna frowns. “A dragon can create three kinds of fires,” Lavi explains. “In human form, we can create the Blaz Flame and the Cold Flame. Cold Flame is the regular kind of fire which we see in every household. It can burn down a human but supernatural creatures can recover from it. A Blaz Flame is more dangerous. Any area burnt with this flame will result in instant death. Luckily, this flame does not have a long range. It is only for enemies who are up close.”

With a final flourish, she extinguished the flames, leaving only a faint wisp of smoke in their wake. Elara, the newcomer with the Celestial Flames, stepped forward next. Her presence commanded attention, and her eyes burned with a fierce intensity. "My power is the Celestial Flames," she said, her voice ringing with authority. "These flames are imbued with celestial energy, capable of healing and destruction."
