The rain was not helping the beast, but he needed to find the owner of that scent. The wind blew in a warm breeze in his direction. Suddenly, he opened his eyes. His massive paws started to hit the ground. He had to be faster. He needed to find her… or him… for all he cared. His heart was getting full of the scent that the wind kept carrying towards him. He knew he would adore the owner of that fragrance, and he would give it the world if it asked for it. He pushed more intently, making the earth shake under his weight.

I looked harder, seeing as the sky darkened with strong winds suddenly taking root. My body jerked up, seeing animals all around the garden stop what they were doing to look up then go back to eating. There was something wrong and it was not sitting well with me. The storm came out of nowhere and it was moving too fast. I stood on my feet, wanting to make my way to the cave with my heart drumming even though I did not know why. What the Wind Left Behind Selena’s POV There was something different about the wind today. It didn’t whisper the same way. It didn’t bite like winter or drift like spring. It pressed itself against the windows of the lake house as though trying to speak not loudly, but insistently. A breeze that came with memory, not weather. Ash laughed a little awkwardly, making the older woman look back up at him again with a raised eyebrow. "Not really... But you don't have to worry! I'll find something quickly." Ash reassured, shaking his hands in front of him frantically. Once Ms Vento looked back down on the piece of paper, however, his smile fell and he sighed to himself slightly. It was something he, himself, had a difficult time believing. Finding an affordable place to stay on such short notice wasn't the simplest of tasks.
