He looked at me with his hazel eyes. "Before we are flag notes, but a beam joined us together. I wonder what our melody sounds like," he said. He closed his eyes. "If you focus, the wind would show you your melody. Close your eyes Reign and focus." I closed my eyes and focused on the sound of the wind. Auggie held my hand, and we waited for the wind to come and whisper what our melody sounds like. Our melody sounds like a river, rushing in September, together with the howl of the evergreen.

I didn’t know where I was walking to but I kept walking. There was no one else in sight on this lonely, dark road, then I saw something that made me smile and gave me a glimmer of hope. It was a huge tunnel, and although it was pitch black like my hair, at least I had found it. I walked faster now, there was suddenly a rush of violent wind around me and the atmosphere wasn’t calm anymore. The trees that lined both sides of the road danced in the direction the strong wind blew them, there was something like a torrent of air that formed a whirlwind around me and suddenly lifted my dress.

“Maybe the wind was too strong. It just blew something into his eyes.” The evening breeze carried the sweet smell of bread baking from the bakery down the street. Life went on. My daughter said she wanted to get pasta from the shop downstairs tomorrow morning. I would have to wake her up a little earlier.

"Then let it approach." The wind howled in reply, enveloping her like a vow. The Luna who would not submit had at last been discovered.

I have always thought of the wind as so free, chaotic even, yet it too has its path, even if there are infinite possible destinations. It is air with passion, a drive that powers onwards, every direction an option.

Because I could already feel it. The shift in the wind. The scent of someone outside the building who didn’t belong. A wolf. And not one of mine. This was just the beginning.

Just then, Kronos was back in the hallway, on his hands and knees, a puddle of vomit in front of him. He breathed in and out fast, his face covered in sweat. “ Damn it!” He swore, slowly getting to his feet, feeling weak and dizzy. He stumbled forward several feet, his mind whirling. Just then, he heard the sound of wind coming from a wall. Wind. Wind means freedom. Wind means escape. Escape. Must escape. Kronos followed the sound of the wind to a random wall and fell to his knees. Without thinking, he began to claw and scrape at the wall with his fingernails. If I can just claw my way out. If I can just escape.

One who was longing for kindness, and one who was full of kindness from people around him. The wind blew and dandelions flew in the air. The feelings lingered and the memories brought warmth and peace. Just like a kiss in the wind...
