Forced to be his Luna

Forced to be his Luna

Sirie explained. “But why water?” Mira asked. “Water is connected to us, like moon Mira. It is very difficult to master water, it never listens to anyone, like the mind, like the inner battle you have with yourself, like horrible thoughts. Mastering water is both difficult and crucial for everyone’s journey. Water mirror’s the depth of your emotion and that’s your strength.” Sirie explained, and Mira listened too well. “That is why water is the equal representation of your power and side of you.” Sirie let out as Mira let out a heavy breath.

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

Chris The creek’s running fast today. Snowmelt, probably. The water’s high, curling around the stones like silver fingers, loud enough to drown out everything else if I sit close enough. I crouch near the bank, arms on my knees, watching the current rush past. Cold mist clings to the air, fresh and damp, and I breathe deep. I’ve always liked water. Lakes, rain, the ocean. Anything that moves and ripples and swells. It makes me feel less jagged. Like the tension gets carried away by the current.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

I smack my hands together and bounce them apart, “clash? Your water just putting out my fire?” “Nah, I don’t think I’m just water, I think it also has to do with like…breath?” Tony says, shaking his head at me, clearly excited. “But even then – fire and water don’t just cancel each other out,” he says, talking fast. My eyes go wide as I realize that he’s right. “We could like – boil oceans –“ “Make like, a whole bunch of steam –“ “It could be like a fog that spreads out over a countryside –“

I’m totally obsessed with this book! It’s so well written. The characters in this book are so deep and significantly different from one another. It gives this book the depth that most of the novels lack of. Furthermore, the story is interesting, adventurous, funny yet touching or even scary at times

I’ve read quite a few books on here, both completed and in progress, and this author is hands down the best author of them all so far. Her writing is intelligent and well thought out, her chapters vary in length for the story not for the app, and the plots & character arcs are just… fantastic. 11/10

On the surface of water

On the surface of water

I don't like lying to the professor, but I don't want him to worry about me. The class has started, but my mind is elsewhere. "Why can't I concentrate?" I hear a whistle from the window; I turn and see a girl standing in the courtyard with wet clothes. "It's not real, or maybe it is." I don't know what to do. Now my heartbeat races as if it's telling me to leave the room, "maybe for once, I should follow what my instinct tells me."

Blood And Water

Blood And Water

I knew for sure I was going to drown if there was no flash of miracle. What was I even thinking? Swim to town… I went down again, then came up trying to keep my stride alive. Stream water was a hydro-oxygen sodium chloride. I just kept on struggling, somewhere from a distance, I could hear Papa's voice saying “Keep on struggling son, it’s not over” his comforting words trying to erase my misery. He always had words to motivate a drained spirit. I just kept on striding though I knew that it was of no use. I went deep again my eyed closed as enveloped my ears. I gasped for breadth but caught none in return, by body shivering in response to the cold water, my eyes were becoming hazy, probably d

Mine

Mine

Rileys eyes blinked open. She felt groggy and unsure of her surroundings, just like every other time she woke this past week. She couldn't remember where she was, she felt dirty and cold, she couldn't even feel her wolf Ava anymore. Her flesh burned with every movement she took. Was this a dream? Had it all been a dream? She looked around and noticed it was a dark room with no windows, like she was in a basement. The room felt wet and cold. She lay on a bed and noticed a metal chain attached to her ankle. There was a bedside table next to her with a glass of water and a bucket next to the bed.

Colorless

Colorless

My brows furrowed as I stepped closer, the metallic scent hitting me before I touched it. It wasn't water. The surface of the desk was smeared with a thin, odd liquid, colorless yet viscous, and unnatural. My stomach twisted as a pulse of unease shot through me. What was that and how did it get on my desk? I reached for the chain, hesitating when my fingers hovered over it. Something about it felt... alive. And as my fingertips brushed the cold metal, a shiver ran through me, sharp and sudden, like the necklace itself was warning me. The liquid was slippery. It felt wrong, almost like it burned my skin.
