I wiped the tears off my face so I could see clearly. Ivory was shedding tears. She was crying but softly, she was frozen in a spot again. It broke my heart to see her tears. She was just getting to know Anna, they must've hit it off on the day they came over. I thought they didn't like each other since they didn't talk much but seeing Ivory shed tears for Anna gave me a warm feeling. Ivory was basically a sweet human being. The water starts rippling, reacting to my presence. It’s weird that I can’t see the water as something lifeless. It’s always trying to cling to me and responds to my emotions as if it can feel everything that I do, as if it can hear what I have to say. I release another sigh and crouch down. Placing my hand in the water, I close my eyes. The wolfsbane in the water stings my hand but I have no wounds. It can’t penetrate my blood. I squeeze my eyes tighter and focus on freezing the water.
