Link pressed her against the stone wall of the yard, his body caging hers. His hands roamed, familiar and firm, claiming every curve he knew so well. Lilly moaned softly into his mouth, her legs parting instinctively to press closer. "If you keep this up, you won't be leaving today." "Maybe I need one more taste before I go," he rasped, his lips trailing down her neck, teeth scraping possessively.

After the apocalypse began, Lilian didn't just awaken her ability—she gained the power to communicate with and control animals. Truly ironic, considering what happened next. She summoned a sounder of feral hogs from the brush and sent them to hunt down one of her "victims," a family of five, and had the hogs tear them apart alive. "You love animals so much? Fine—let's see how you like being eaten by them." In reality, there were two victims, but only one lived in Senna City. Lilian didn't yet have the reach to strike beyond the city, so the other was spared—for now.

I felt a surge of defensiveness rise within me, a protective barrier against the vulnerability I felt in his presence. He took a seat beside me, his expression cautious as he studied my face. "Hey, Lil," he said softly, his voice tentative. "Are you okay?" I gritted my teeth, struggling to contain the anger and frustration bubbling beneath the surface. "Do I look okay?" I snapped, my tone laced with bitterness. Lucas flinched, his brow furrowing in concern. "I just wanted to check in," he said, his voice tinged with hurt. "I'm here for you, Lilian. Whatever you need."

She walks toward Ron, her eyes assessing him with the clinical coldness of a coroner. “So, this is the Hwan boy. The rebel prince. You look a lot more like your mother than the files suggest. Let’s hope you didn’t inherit her penchant for backstabbing.”

I said, a wide smile pulling at my lips. "I would give three quarters and more to see the sour expression on her face." Leana commented, stifling a chuckle with her fist. "You two sure are something." Gerald chuckled. "It is the least way to get back at her." I defended. "I can think of at least a dozen ways to get back at her." Leana quipped. "Yeah, yeah. I know all about the vengeful fire that burns in the pits of your stomach. But right now, we have more important things that require our attention." Gerald said.

She needed answers. Lila stepped forward, deliberately snapping a twig beneath her boot. The men whirled, hands moving instinctively toward their weapons.

Now, let her go, or I will end you.” His voice thickens into a gruff, deep bark that makes all of the hair stand in my body. But Lilith does not seem fazed by it at all. “I don’t think I will,” she replies as she digs the knife a little deeper. A startled gasp escapes my lips as the sharp glide of the blade shallowly cuts into my skin.

Liam's head snapped up, his eyes now completely black, he bared his fangs at Lilian, whose eyes widened on seeing his expression. They all exchanged looks and swallowed, fear crept up their bellies. Lilian was annoyed for two reasons— one, that her brother was going feral on her, and two, that he was doing it for a girl who wasn't worth it. She snarled and automatically got to her feet. Her eyes flashed golden and she bared her teeth at him. "Stand down!" Garrett growled at Lilian, using his authority as Beta. He and James were the only ones who could stand up to Liam's wolf when things went out of hand.

Hold her, hold them all. Lila perched on a bench, wiry frame buzzing as she shared cider with pups, her chestnut ponytail swinging. Her hazel eyes sparkled, sling tucked in her belt, optimism a shield against the hall’s tension. She hummed softly, calming the kids, but her fingers fidgeted, fear of the eclipse buried deep. Spark, her wolf, yipped, small and vibrant, tail a blur. Sing, Lila! Keep their hearts light, keep yours bright.

Scarlet winked. "Maybe if you cut your hair a bit shorter and straightened ….much less kinky...curly? I don't know...you won't have to worry about having so much metal in your hair." Alicia suggested. "Fangs off my hair Alicia. This baby is going nowhere." She hissed. "Okay-okay!" Alicia snorts,"Just saying." "Well it's the only thing she is passionate about besides dueling. "Oh that's right." Scarlet let out a devilish grin. In a split second a carefully aimed dagger was seen propelled towards Alicia, it's sharp end positioned to inevitably pierce it's target.
