Lilliana said and Raina nodded her head while smiling at me. I could see how excited she is, she was practically dancing on air. Eleanor sat elegantly on the sofa, a glass of wine in hand. A moment later, the door opened. Lila Harrington stepped in, wearing red. Maya’s blood ran cold. The two women exchanged a polite embrace. Then, faintly, the microphones picked up Eleanor’s voice: “So, we have an understanding.” Lila smiled. “Of course. I’ll handle the scandal. She pulls out a pair of fuzzy short shorts and straightens back up, slipping the shorts on under my T-shirt. “I’m going to go see if Reece and Raikin are awake.” She says overly chipper and I laugh. -Lilliana’s POV- I open my bedroom door and practically run to Raikin’s room. I don’t knock, I just look around to make sure my mom, and Curtis aren’t around and go inside. Ryder was right, Raikin is still sleeping but he won’t be for long. I close and lock the door behind me. The sun is shining through the curtain lighting up the room.
