Lily I know I'm not a good person. I think about that as I watch this tall, handsome man tear my bra apart, looking at me with desire. "It seems someone is a little too eager today," I say with a smile, spreading my legs for him. "Can you blame me? I haven't seen you in over a week. I want you so badly right now," that handsome man replies, searching for my lips to kiss me. "I'm very sorry, Mr. Moonridge. You know I'm always at your disposal."

“No one touches her. Not while I’m breathing.” In the quiet of her room, Lily opened the notebook she kept hidden beneath her pillow. She began sketching what she remembered from the vent conversations—names, times, fragments of code. She wasn’t just surviving anymore. She was building a case, piece by piece, to end Leonard’s reign. Outside her window, rain began again, soft and steady, masking the sounds of the city. But inside, Lily’s resolve burned bright. Let them come, she thought. I’m not afraid anymore.

Creeds pov. Lily can’t peel her eyes away from her mothers spell book. She keeps grazing her fingers along the seams and sides, she keeps muttering words along the lines of, amazing, wow, huh, I can’t believe this… I myself can't believe it either, I have no idea what’s going on and how important this spell book really is. “Are you okay?” I ask Lily while placing my hand on her shoulder, she flinches slightly, startled because she was so caught up in her mind.

"I do. It's just I've finished them all. And those are fascinating topics. Perhaps you should try staying home and reading sometimes instead of sneaking off so you can fraternize with grocery thieves." Laughing at the catty comment, Lily nudged her shoes under the coffee table with pointed toes. "Oh, I could never. It's much more exciting hobnobbing with the criminal element than wandering aimlessly through a boring library. Besides, maybe I'm collecting research for my own book." "I'm certain it'll be an absolutely riveting read," Evelyn assured her, descending into a fit of giggles with her best friend. "It will." Unable to keep a straight face, Lily chuckled again. "You wait and see."

That thought made it worse. I bit my lip, tried to breathe evenly. Tried to stay sane. But every time he turned, every time his shirt stretched across his back or those slacks tightened around his ass, I wanted to slide my hand under my skirt and give myself the relief I was aching for. Then, thank God! A distraction. A girl beside me leaned in with a smile. “Nice to meet you, Lily. Don’t mind Professor Collins, he’s always that grumpy.” Grumpy? I nearly laughed. If she only knew.

“I can hear your heart go crazy when I get close. I can smell your excitement. Your body speaks for itself - you want no less than mine. So tell me why? Lily pressed herself against the cool cabinet door, licking her dry lips, and whispered: - I want a lot of things. I want to overeat on sweets, I want to choke the neighbor's dog that won't shut up at night. I want to quit boring studies, telling my parents that finances are not mine, I want to travel. But I do not do this, because there are limits to the reasonable, responsibility and morality. - She ducked under the man's arm, went to the table and, turning away, put on a nightgown.

"That was cool." Lily blushed and replied shyly, "Ahh, thanks." Ethan was holding a book. The cover was covered with cardboard paper as if he didn't want anyone to know what he was reading. Curious Lily asked, "What are you reading?" Ethan looked at Lily and then held up his book, swinging it without saying anything. Lily was a bit flustered, but decided to start a conversation. "What's a guy like you doing here alone?" "I could ask you the same thing.”

She paused and wiped her tears, “meet the girl I have been hearing a lot about.” I was going to ask what right she thinks she has to think about it and threaten her until she spill out the information I needed from her, but when she mentioned a girl, I couldn't stop myself from asking, “And what girl is that?” hoping that It won't be who I thought it was. “I heard there's a new bitch working at your club called Li—Lily, who has been trying to get your attention, I need to meet her. Maybe, have a face-to-face conversation with her.”

With his fur back, he’s as regal and confident as any royal, the grumpy persona replaced with Alpha arrogance. When we get inside, we all go into the library. Ailduin goes to the book shelf where the Book of Prophecies sits in the center, facing forward, glowing with its magical light. He pulls it from the shelf and looks at me. “I think it’s time we all accept this this book of prophecies is about you, Lily. First, The Rise of the Giants, then The Blessing of the Ceryneian Hind and now The Healer.” “Is the last one terrible? I’ve refused to read them, the first two made it sound like I was bringing destruction to your world.”

Hello everyone. First, thank you for your support in my initial foray into writing. Your support has been amazing and has definitley encouraged me to continue writing. As you know, my book For the Love of a Guardian is out now. This is Clint and Lily's story which, as you may have guessed, will span to the end of this book. It will primarily focus on their life together and Clint's life without Lily, but it will follow until the end of this book. This book will move into the primary spot and will begin having daily updates this week.
