Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

Elara studied the girl through video connection. "You're older than me. Maybe twelve? You're not my sister but you might be a distant family. Do you remember your first name?" "Lily," the girl said wonderingly. "My name is Lily Cole. I was empathic like you. I joined the Geneva program because my parents thought it would help me control my abilities. Lily started doing her hair, while my mom headed towards her suite to get ready. Lily was wearing a divinely gorgeous navy-blue gown tonight with silver accents. The gown was sleeveless with a high neckline in the front and draping almost to her bottom in the back. She wouldn’t be wearing a bra for this dress, not that she needed it. She was perfection and the gown suited her. She was going to break some hearts tonight as she always did. Drake POV

“And we need to follow up on that.” Lily bobbed her head. She owed these shifters her life. Anything they needed to know, she’d tell them. So she go through it all from the beginning — why she’d left home and how Josua had followed her, first from Maine to Vermont, and eventually, to Moraji. “When he showed up here, I thought he was after me,” she said. “But then he started asking about my aunt’s cash…” When she trailed off there, Hailey spoke up in a hushed sound. “Camille Carmichael. Her landscape photography is just stunning. I would have loved to have met her.”

Alexandra murmurs. "Hey it's not my fault, I always slay!" Trisha says. "Yeah, it's not your fault. But you always put in the effort!" Kenzy says. "Kenz!" Trisha glares. "So, who is going for Hallel College's reunion?" Kenzy asks ready to hear their opinions. "Am not going. I heard someone died during one of there parties. And they haven't found a lead to what actually happened!" Alexandra says.

Without careful observation, it was impossible to tell who was the elder sister and who was the younger one. Gemma, how would you respond to this? She preferred a name that still carried echoes of "Lily" and wanted it to harmonize with mine, so she settled on Haley Xander.
