I asked, trying to uncover every possible detail. “No one knows,” Lily replied. “Some say she died protecting the child, while others believe she’s still out there, keeping the child safe until the time is right for her to return.” I nodded at Lily, feeling a sudden need to be alone with my thoughts. "Can I be left alone for a bit?" I asked, my voice softer than usual. She nodded understandingly and quietly exited the library, leaving me in the serene silence of the room. Once she was gone, I eagerly reopened the book, my fingers trembling with anticipation. I flipped through the pages, hoping to piece together the fragmented story. The snippets of words and phrases I found were tantalizing,

" Be careful, Astrid. I don't want you getting mixed up in some shit. Ava is way out of our league." "You think?" I say, eyes dancing with disbelief. Lily shrugs. "I've heard stuff. I'm not sure how true the rumours are, but I'm certain about how tricky it is to be around someone like her." I watch her with my arms folded. "How many stories has she submitted?" She quickly adds. "Just one, for now." Lily moves from the door, taking a few steps into the dimly lit room. I turned down the lights and closed the blinds, keeping the natural light and noise out. My chair squeaks as I adjust, reaching for a candy in one of the jars.

Madeline and Jeremy followed Fabian to the door of Lillian's room. Before they walked in, the couple heard Fabian's gentle and coaxing voice coming from the room. “What's wrong, Lily? You can’t sleep?” Fabian asked very gently, and Madeline and Jeremy saw their baby princess nodding slightly. We were professional in office and in front of others. But as soon as we were out of the company we would have romantic dinner and talks and kisses. I had relationship before but I never talked to them this much. My partners would rather bed me then listen to me. But I never had the urge to talk to them either or to make them laugh with my family antiques. With Lily, I want to see her laugh so I tell her embarrassing stories about my siblings not me obviously. Her sweet giggle and hearty laugh is like melody to my ears and I feel different when I look at her.

Amira asked as she grabbed her glass and sat beside Rayleigh. "I write books." Lily told them. "Well, wrote books. I don't write anything anymore." "Really?" Willow perked up. "What kind of books have you written?" "Fantasy fiction." Lily said. "Oh, I love fantasy novels. I'd love to read them, if that's okay?" Willow sipped from her glass. "Oh, this is sweet. What flavor is this one?"

Lily ask Anika as she continue laughing. "Are you done laughing now?" Anika with a serious voice. "Yeah! I am done." Lily said but still quietly laugh even more. "....well i have read countless fantasy books about vampire and werewolf, and i pretty sure you have read some too, but I don't think Vampires or werewolf are real. They are just made up thing use to scare children." Lily jokily said. "....okay! But what if i tell you that he also has red eyes?" Anika said.

Lily stretched out her arms, fluttering like a butterfly on the soft flower bed. "Stop." Suddenly, with a loud scream, Elias pulled Lily's arm from the flowers. Lily couldn't help but look at Elias in surprise. He quickly explained: "Do you see those yellow flowers?" Lily nodded, and Elias continued to explain: "It's a carnivorous flower. If you touch it lightly, it can eat a piece of your flesh." Lily took a few steps back in fear. Venn looked at Lily's expression and laughed. Lily didn't understand why the two of them were laughing, but feeling like she was being tricked, she turned around angrily and walked forward.
