Possessive At First Sight
The scent of lilies and roses filled the air.
“So we need green and white, right?” Lucy muttered softly as she ran her hands over the pages.
“Yes,” I nodded my head absentmindedly.
“Any specific flowers of your choice?” she inquired, eyes still fixed on the brochure.
I wasn’t sure, so I just said, “Roses, hydrangeas, or peonies.”
As I kept flipping the pages. With the thick, hefty brochures, a day wouldn’t be enough to look into it.
