THE GIRL WITH A THOUSAND BUTTERFLIES

THE GIRL WITH A THOUSAND BUTTERFLIES

Beside her was little Romeo, maybe five or six, holding back a smile except his eyes betrayed him, they disappeared into his eyelid leaving just enough for the camera to capture his vibrant eye colour. “Do you remember, now?” I wished I could tell her, it was the case that I didn’t remember but it wasn’t. That girl in the picture was not me. Angel was not me. “You think this girl…is me?” “Is it?” “I mean, I see the resemblance.” By that, I meant that the skin shade was quite similar. People with my exact skin tone was uncommon, especially here in Nigeria and with the growing twisted need for whitening skincare. There were dark skins everywhere but for those with the exact shade of a charcoal

A Deal with the Billionaire's Heir

A Deal with the Billionaire's Heir

I'm finally more than fifty percent sure I'm enjoying his company. His face is still on my shoulder, his stubble casually satisfyingly poking my skin. We're backlit, accenting his facial features. This is the closest I've gotten beside him, excluding when he's kissing me. His hair and brows are healthily thick and all pitch-dark. He's gotten a Roman nose shape and its base is straighter than my future. His lips are small, heart-shaped, and handsomely pinkish. His limestone skin color is illegally heavenly. His eyelids then open and his steel gray eyes stare right at me. O God, they're so drop-dead. He raises a brow at me, his head quite tilting, and then calmly utters, "What?"

Captive in the Dark by my Ex-husband

Captive in the Dark by my Ex-husband

It was a light make up but her beauty was undeniable. I averted my gaze bitterly and mindlessly grabbed the shot which I think was martini. I did not even wince when it burned my throat. I looked at Devona again after putting down the glass. It was annoying. It pissed me off because she got beautiful skin. Why wasn't I born with a skin like hers? All my life, my biggest insecurity was the color of my skin. Sometimes I do tanning just to achieve that sun-kissed skin. And there are some women who were born with it?

The Major's Reborn Killer Wife

The Major's Reborn Killer Wife

Skylar Vance had never been ugly, nor was she afflicted by low self-esteem. On the contrary, her facial features were exquisitely refined and strikingly dimensional—a true testament to delicate bone structure and flawless symmetry. Her skin was porcelain smooth, and her large, clear eyes, framed by long lashes, curved upward in a graceful arc. She was a world away from the common image of a rough country girl, often cursed with dry, chafed skin or perpetually flushed cheeks.

Daughter of the Moon

Daughter of the Moon

He explained the importance of each one. Jonas: Now, my Luna, I'm going to show you how to choose foundation… it's a layer that's almost the same color as your skin, but if you blush with embarrassment, it will remain invisible to everyone else… except, of course, your partner, who will definitely notice. He lined up several small jars and opened them to put a little of the cream on a small piece of paper. Then, he held the paper close to my face. Jonas: I want to be sure I find the right shade for you. So, I'm comparing the colors to your natural skin tone… there… peach satin, I knew it…

The answer slipped out of her tongue on its own. “Are you serious? Like someone actually criticised you for your skin tone? Are they blind? I mean you have the fuckin most gorgeous skin I have ever seen. You know models here would die to get that tone of yours. " Ian couldn't believe someone would actually criticise anyone for skin tone.

BOUGHT FOR LOVE

BOUGHT FOR LOVE

She continued folding her clothes. "Good morning porcelain skin" Lady Lizbeth praised. Ria furrowed her brows at the words. "Porcelain skin?" She mumbled. Yes my dear beauty. You are like a diamond shinning from afar, a rare gemstone in a luxurious store. Oh, how clear and white your skin is, you need no skincare to remain pretty" lady Lizbeth further praised. Ria shook her head, she already knew Lady Lizbeth definitely has something to say for her to suddenly start praising her. Whatever happens to name calling?

A Bride For Alpha Darren

A Bride For Alpha Darren

Lucy held the stone up to the light, admiring the way it caught the moon's rays and reflected them back with an ethereal, otherworldly glow. The stone itself was a deep shade of blue, the color of the night sky just before dawn. Its surface was flecked with tiny specks of silver, like stars scattered across the heavens. As Lucy turned the stone over in her hand, she could see that it was not just a single shade of blue, but rather a spectrum of colors that seemed to shift and change with every movement.

Vampire of the New World

Vampire of the New World

He closed his eyes and listened to the waves crashing on the shore as well as the call of a few migratory birds. When he opened his eyes, he saw the walls of the mansion in the soft light of the morning. The exterior of the house was made of pink limestone and framed with hardwood. In the sunlight, the walls had a pinkish glow that was pleasing to the eyes. The eerie shadows of the previous night had disappeared and any trace of the creature that appeared to have crossed the wall had gone.

Captain Cook
Excellent book! Plenty of suspense with vivid descriptions of locations and characters! I've reached Chapter 169 and didn't see any issues. I hope the author updates soon with new chapters! Great work!

This is an extremely well-written book. Of all the books I’ve read on the platform, this author’s command of the English language is the best. The story is great and reminds me a lot of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Even After Death

Even After Death

She had a broad figure as well, and her skin tone was uneven. She and Olivia were almost at the same height, which was 5.51 feet. She weighed about 132 pounds, and it was quite a balanced combination. But when she stood next to Olivia, even if Olivia didn't do anything, she was already defeated. Olivia had a slender figure, and after she lost weight, her features were even more exquisite. She looked like a porcelain doll, delicate and adorable. To hide her uneven skin tone, Krystal always applied a thick layer of powder on her face.

Congratulations author! Such a nice plot of a novel about a woman’s saga on the romantic- love-hate realm. I cried a bucket for Olivia at the beginning of the story, but I admire the true love of Ethan for her at the later part. In this time and age, would there be such kind of love?
