' the lady whose name tag says Tina asked, batting her lashes at Aziz but he barely noticed her. 'I would like the Risotto and Ratatouille,' I say, and she turns to Aziz who still didn't spare her a glance. 'I would take the Amatriciana and Panna Cotta,' he tells her. 'What wine would you want with your meals?' Tina asked nasally. 'Barolo Piedmont,’ 'Alright then, I'll bring the wine while they get your food ready,' she waltzed off when she realised Aziz still didn't notice her.

Steam rose from the dish, filling the space and my nostrils. “I heard from a friend that this is a must eat here.” Marie informed us, inhaling the delicious aroma of the food. “It’s made with marsala wine sauce.” The sweet fragrant aroma from the Marsala floated up, and my stomach grumbled in response. The bowl was filled with rigatoni noodles that were cooked to perfection. Along with the noodles were pieces of shredded white chicken breast. Thinly chopped squares of caramelized onion and sauteed baby brown button mushrooms completed the mix. The sight of it made my mouth water.

I take my coat off and hang it on my chair. “What do you want to eat?” Luciano asks making me wonder what I want to eat. “How about some seafood?” I ask. “Whatever you want baby.” He says and orders. The waiter serves our food and just by looking at it makes my mouth water. Luciano pours me juice while he pours himself champagne. “This is called Brodetto and Baccalà Mantecato.” He says and I take a bite moaning in delight. It is so delicious. We have finished our dinner and I don’t know why are we still waiting here. Luciano is looking at me so intently as if thinking of something deeply.

I am trying not to stare at him. "This all looks delicious." Mr. Bradbury says but I don't look up. "Yeah. Aria is an amazing cook!" Maddy says, taking a bite. I made the Coq Au Vin, with a side of ratatouille and pommes persillade for the main course. Which is basically roasted chicken, potatoes and a side of veggies just in a very fancy version. I watch as Mr. Bradbury takes a bite. "Wow. This is amazing."

But after a day of finding the perfect dress and accessories, it felt right to indulge a little. We sat down at a table near the window, the ambiance cozy and elegant with soft lighting and classical music playing in the background. The waiter handed us menus, and we started browsing through the dishes, trying to decipher the French names. Cecil, of course, seemed more comfortable with it than I was. We decided to start with Ratatouille. Yes, like the movie. It's a vegetable stew made from zucchini, bell peppers, and eggplant, among other things. When the dish arrived, it looked like a colorful masterpiece on the plate.

Amberleigh decided not to tempt fate and try the snails at dinner that night. Instead, she opted for some Ratatouille-that famous French vegetable stew- and a chicken dish with mushrooms, garlic, in a red wine sauce called Coq Au Vin. It was simply orgasmic in her mouth.

" Ryan asked with a very stiff intonation. "Wow! you cooked Ratatouille! it tools delicious," Greta tried to divert the conversation. As Greta shifted to take a closer look, Ryan's gaze fell on Greta's injured knee. But the wound didn't look too terrible because when she took a bath Greta had already cleaned it. "Can I eat it now? I'm really hungry? asked Greta impatiently. Ryan nodded slowly. Greta quickly pulled the stool and sat on it. She started scooping Broccoli Gratin and Ratatouille to her plate and devoured it.

Just absolute, single-minded focus. I glance down at the packet in my hand and read the label aloud, because apparently six in the morning on a kitchen floor is where my dignity has come to rest. "Mousse di pollo con brodo di verdure arricchito." I look back at her. "Chicken mousse with enriched vegetable broth. Very distinguished. You eat better than most of my associates." Mina meows without pausing, without looking up, without granting me anything except the ongoing grace of her continued appetite.

Liam nodded and waited patiently for Maxima’s explanation. “Today I’ve tried different things, just for fun. So, we have about three different appetizers to start with, then smoked duck with grilled peaches, a new recipe I was dying to try out, and ‘Involtini di melanzane’, eggplant rolls, basically. This is an Italian recipe. The slices of eggplant are lightly breaded and covered with ricotta, Parmigiano, and spices. Then they are rolled up and baked. I made a few with veal… just in case you are not an eggplant fan. As for dessert, we have two kinds of tartlets and Dessert Sushi with Sweet Coconut Rice.”

The feast was an homage to both families’ roots. Baskets of baguettes and wheels of Camembert were passed around, followed by roasted lamb flavored with thyme and garlic, ratatouille bright with summer vegetables, and platters of risotto ai porcini. Bottles of Bordeaux and Barolo gleamed in the candlelight. When dessert arrived—towers of macarons, lemon tarts, and a towering tiramisu—the guests applauded. Children dipped fingers into whipped cream when they thought no one was watching.
