She asked, "Playing?" "No, we haven't been playing," I said to her, "for some reason, I don't think she's ready for marriage. I don't even think she's ready to be claimed by me." "You're a Lycan now, right?" She asked me. "Yes, my queen." "And the Alpha of the Maelstrom kingdom as well, right?" "That's correct, my queen." "Then why is it difficult for you to make a move at a lady whom you've spent a good time of your life getting close with?" She asked.

Miah growled back lowering her head getting ready to attack. “You always were and still the drama queen. That’s the one and only crown you will ever wear! Now time to finish this! I got 42 ways to deal with your bitch ass.” Koa growled showing all her pearly white teeth. I did have to chuckle on her word play because wolves generally have 42 teeth.

His claws leaving a deep scratch across his shoulder blade. I looked at him sadly. My eyes welling with tears as I replied. “You are not my Alpha, Drake. I am a Luna Queen.” My message was simple. I out ranked him. His will had no effect on me. I chose to respect him as an Alpha, but I did not need to fulfil his command.

Liam folded his arms on the table, exhaling slowly, letting the gravity of it sit between them for a moment before speaking again. “Elena wants me to find Queen Zenobia and Prince Richard’s engagement rings. Turns out the stone the stone embedded in them has the blood of the first dragon in it and they are the only pair of jewellery made from that.” Liam let out a sigh as he continued “She will only agree to marry me if I get her this ring, so I am trying to find any information I can get on it so I at least have a hint on where to start this search.”

Narrowing his eyes, he snapped, “Don’t you think you are too presumptuous for being a hostage?” Lily turned around, revealing her delicate features. Long brown hair, jade like skin, soft petal like lips. Regan almost flinched at her appearance. Then, his gaze met her deep grey eyes. They seemed to have a life of their own, sparkling with curiosity and confidence.

Her fear that she would fail her people made her humble and only gave me more faith in her. Her doubtful eyes turned silver. Her head lifted high in pride and my lips curled into a devious smile watching this gorgeous creature build herself back up right before my eyes. She feared her future, but only because she didn't want to fail those that needed her. I would stand by her side to support her every step of the way though. "I, Elena Nightingale, Queen of wolves, accept and swear my loyalty and devotion to the blood moon pack." Our hands clasped together, bringing us both to our knees and heads tilted back. I don’t know why-” “Boys!” We all jerked up in caution at the rage of the familiar voice. Luna had barged into the room and she did not look too happy about her sons being in here with me.

Overwhelming Alpha pressure radiated from Leonard, forcing everyone present to bow their heads instinctively. "The…The Alpha King?" Timothy swallowed hard, trying to suppress the terror welling up within. Even so, his hand clutching the slave serum trembled. "Sasha has already been marked. She cannot marry you. Who here is your Luna Queen?" "Beta Timothy Newsom." Leonard sneered. "Who gave you the right to address me like that?"

"Then let this be a lesson to you, and any other wishing to undermine me. Next time, I will not be so lenient and will not hesitate in snapping your or any others neck. Am I clear?" She gave off a pitiful whimper and nodded. I released her and she shifted immediately, clutching her neck and coughing painfully. I turned to Lucas and the crowd, finding them watching me dumbfoundedly. Snow continued speaking through my mouth. "Is there any one else that would like to take up the place of Quinn and challenge me?" I was met with silence. "Very well. Lucas?" Quickly recovering himself, Lucas stepped towards me and announced.
