I turned to her, offering the vial carefully.
“This is it, Calista. Take it first thing in the morning and last thing at night for the next three days. After that, you should meet with your husband. You’ll see a difference. I’m sure of it.”
She took the vial with both hands, her gaze softening with gratitude.
“Thank you, Lyra. I really hope this works.”
“It will. It's our traditional drink and has been helping lots of our women.”
She put the vial somewhere in her wardrobe where she could easily access it and came back to chat with me. She smiled at me slightly as she noticed the look on my face.
