Literary Novels To Read Novels & Stories

So while he stands behind me watching me, which both intimidates and excites me, I take each book out, one by one, pulling them from the bookcase, some wonderful editions of Jane Austen, Dickens, Ovid, Homer, Kundera and then 'For Whom the Bell Tolls' and, finally, Lolita. I feel like novels that bring out strong emotions in you are the best novels, the ones that you can't put down, the ones that make you laugh out loud, the ones you want to throw across the room and rip out the pages, and lastly the ones that make you cry. Those are ones that truly hit you, render you speechless, and make you think about it for days after.

Books are removed and added, so it's kept up to date. What makes it special is the little section of books from best-sellers across the world. For the literature students, of course, I like to take advantage of that perk too. There are no library passes, but you'll have to check in with the librarian to get a book out. There's a common room with several chairs to sit and read, but since it's Tuesday and a little past noon, the place is almost empty. I count two girls and three guys when I passed. I visit the novel section. The likes of pride and prejudice, ugly love, after, and a few rom-com are enticing but I skip them all and take up a psychology text. I'll take those home and read them la

Bella is really going to benefit from someone who is really laid back and able to calm her down. Challenge this week is going to be a bit different. And well, it expanded from there. I refuse to give in to the game's allure tonight and instead walk to my bookshelf for a happy read. My favorite worn titles stare back at me. There's a little something for everyone, from The Alchemist to pure smut romance, but I'm not pulled in. Hollywood turns every series I like into a movie anyway. I can wait it out.
