Forsaken

Forsaken

And as I drifted into a fitful sleep, I couldn't help but wonder if Elliot's silence on the matter was born out of fear, a fear we both shared, a fear of the unfathomable horrors that lurked just beneath the surface. The nightmares began that night, as I was plunged into a realm of eerie darkness and foreboding. In my dreams, I found myself standing by the same lake, its tranquil surface marred by an unsettling stillness. The moon hung heavy in the sky, casting an ethereal glow upon the water's edge.

Mafia's love has no religion

Mafia's love has no religion

The moon hung high in the inky sky, casting a silvery glow through the curtains of Aleena and Aarav's bedroom. The room was peaceful, the only sound being the gentle rustling of leaves outside the window. Aleena's peaceful slumber was suddenly shattered by a nightmarish vision that twisted her dreams into a realm of fear. In her dream, she found herself standing in a desolate, shadowy landscape. Whispers of her deepest anxieties seemed to surround her, and an overwhelming sense of dread gripped her heart. She tried to run, but the ground beneath her feet felt like quicksand, refusing to let her escape.

Moon's Embraced

Moon's Embraced

Her heart pounded in her chest, the remnants of the nightmare clinging to her like a suffocating fog. The room was bathed in an ethereal light as Luna realized it was all just a dream, a twisted creation of her fearful imagination. Yet, the remnants of the nightmare lingered, leaving her trembling with the weight of a reality she couldn't fully comprehend. As Luna sat there, breathless and tormented, trying to process the horror that had unfolded in her subconscious mind, she couldn't escape the pervasive feeling that there was more to her nightmares than meets the eye. The secrets of her past, the tragic fate of her mother, clung to her like a shroud of mystery, leaving her yearning for ans

Broken Nightmare

Broken Nightmare

Thank you so much for reading "Broken Nightmare"! The second book will be out in about April of 2021 and I can't wait to share it with you. Here is a sneak-peek so you can take a look! Chapter 1 I woke slowly with my head pounding, feeling very disoriented. It was pitch black in my room as I opened my eyes. I reached over to turn my bedroom lamp on, but felt nothing. Where was my lamp? And then it all came back flooding to me. Liam kidnapped. Claire and the pack missing. The imprint.

This is a really unique and fun story. It has more action than steam and the confusion that the narrator feels is duplicated in the reader, but with curiosity. Good length, good vocabulary and writing. Totally enjoyable!

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

Lana reminds me of one of those boyish runway models, where Bree is a pinup girl. Bree is not the only one who has been having weird nightmares, though. Over the past year, I’ve been having terrifying nightmares too. It happens every few weeks. And every time it happens, I’m afraid that I’ll never wake up. It is the most terrifying of all. It always starts out the same…

Slowly reading through the series and this has to be one of my favourites so far! Such a great book, the story is engaging and well written, I love that it introduces less written about supernatural species, it just adds to the story. Thoroughly enjoyed it and totally recommend this book!

Dreams

Dreams

One of my aunts commented from one of the foldable chairs they brought out so everyone would be able to sit, but her attention went back to the novella as fast as possible. I got up and went straight to my space wallpaper wrapped room, my bedroom was like a typical teenager’s bedroom in the nineteen-eighties. I couldn’t discuss what was happening to me with any of my family members because they would just send me to our priest and that was exactly what I didn’t need. Sitting on my bed my eyes suddenly caught some weird movement from the crucifix on my dresser, well I thought it did then but it turned out it was the images coming back to me, I didn’t know when I lay down on my bed. The next t

Corrian says as we pass a reading nook with oversized bean bag chairs and a shelf full of books no toddler would read. I catch one title, ‘Teeth Are Not for Biting (But Sometimes They Are)’. I raise an eyebrow. “Special how?” He doesn’t answer. We pass a hallway lined with artwork. Crayon drawings, finger paints, but some of them are odd. Red scribbles in circular patterns, shapes that look more like symbols than animals. One has a giant black figure drawn with scratchy lines and tiny words underneath it. I lean closer. ‘The Bad Ones Are Coming.’

A Dangerous Game: Desired By The Billionaire Brothers

Mia really was a magnet for weirdos. He can’t deal with this right now. He wasn’t at his best today. Last night, he’d had a nightmare. It was dark except for an artificial blue light dangling above his head. Below the light, he was trapped in a pool full of blood, bodies, and huge wooden puzzle pieces. Corpses. Cut-up and torn. Bodies. Decomposing limbs. Eyes pulled from their sockets. Worms and maggots feasting on the carnage. And everywhere it reeked of blood. Even now and fully awake, he could smell it in the air.

Dirty Deals With The Devil

Dirty Deals With The Devil

The night that was slowly turning into a nightmare for me, my mother had said I had been talking in my sleep again last night. And Amanda was very wrong, the conversation most definitely didn't take five minutes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The first thing my eyes went to when I got to work later that afternoon was a painting that hung beside the ancient wall clock behind the counter. It was a queer painting if I had ever seen any as it, it contained a man that apparently was supposed to be the devil with his charcoal black skin, pointy, black head horns and long spiky tail. The eyes were painted a bloody shade of red that were enough to give nightmares, as if I needed more of t

Of Men and Monsters

Of Men and Monsters

Even the gulls’ cries sounded frightened, unsure of what the gloomy day might bring. I hadn’t slept well after our family meeting at the kitchen table. Disquieting dreams plagued my night, though I couldn’t remember a single one. Instead of going down to scavenge breakfast, I grabbed the next issue of “They Come Out at Night” and flopped back onto my bed. The back cover was missing, leaving torn-off, jagged edges and exposing the advertisements on the last page of the comic. There were the usual ads for x-ray glasses and onion gum and joy buzzers and Charles Atlas, but one at the bottom caught my eye.
