Little Red Hood Novels & Stories

Lady Livia thrashed about, making the hood of her robe fall away from her face. It was only by then that the woman let Livia go with a gasp. I caught Livia in my arms just in time. She landed on my chest, while we went on a soft thud against the marbled floor. My eyes fell in contact with the woman’s gaze inside her hood. She immediately lifted the thing obscuring her face completely away, and I too had to gasp. Before me was someone who looked exactly like Livia Jeteris… except that she had the blood–red eyes of a vampire.

Zayn growls as I stop him with my arm and shake my head. "A child who will fight against…a wyvern!" The audience cheered as a red color wyvern charged out once the gates opened. It has a steel collar around its neck and starts roaring, creating the crowd more excited. "Bring out the child!" I snapped my head at the other gate as it opened. Stepping out in rags was a little girl. Images of my previous life and Alice's flash in my mind. Seeing that little girl reminds us how our childhood wasn't as great as any other child's.

For a long moment there is nothing. Then— “Goldilocks…” A tiny whisper. The softest voice. The one I thought I lost forever. I exhale shakily, knees weak. She’s back. “Red,” I breathe, reaching for her. She turns toward me — and her eyes fill with pure horror. “Red, I—” I reach to touch her cheek. “DON’T TOUCH ME!” She screams and curls deeper into her friend’s arms. Like she’s hiding from a monster. “Go away!”

“But considering your first taste of elemental magic was conjuring fire, I thought the red would be fitting.” Arla proudly donned her cloak, only to find Meredith laughing loudly. Arla furrowed her eyebrows and gave her a quizzical look. “I’m sorry, Arla,” she chuckled. “The red cloaks always make me think of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale, only in your case, it appears that Little Red Riding Hood IS the big bad wolf.” The class snickered, and Arla couldn’t help but laugh along with them. “Maybe not the ‘big’ part,” joked Arla, who had always been tiny for her age.

Elena boxed the Circle with her fists. She was crawling on all fours. Her pain was unimaginable. "Ahhhhhh!!!!" she screamed. "Stop it!" "You need the pain to become whole," Red said. Elena named her already. Red. If she's not harder on telling her name, she would have a much better choice to call her. The child on a red hood was visiting again. She was more cheerful momentarily as if she was too glad of Elena's pain

“ What are you doing?” Logan looked at the figure in the hood and shouted loudly, he knew he shouldn’t have but he was young and hot-blooded. Instead of darting around and looking for adults, he rushed towards the figure and as he got closer he realised that it was his uncle and in his arms was the red-haired witch. He was hugging her close as if trying to protect her, she looked so small in Jordan’s arms that Logan thought that she was only ten when he knew that she was around thirteen or fourteen.

The paper falls away revealing my gift. "It's beautiful," she sighs as she wraps the red hooded cape around her shoulders. It is made of a fine wool of the brightest red, lined with a gray-blue satin, and embroidered with the phases of the moon in a thread that perfectly matches the color of her gray-blue eyes. "And warm. Thank you." "The wool will repel moisture and light rain, and the silk satin will keep you warm," I explain as I help her. "It will keep you comfortable, and visible, on our hike tomorrow morning...that is, if you still want to go."

Annabelle ducked into a corner and as the person followed her, she slipped a knife out of her sleeves and directed it at the man in front of her. He was hooded. "What do you want from me?" She felt no fear but when she heard his chuckle, a small amount of it managed to race through her heart. "I'm not here for you little girl." His voice was like a magnet. "I'm here for the red haired girl. The one they call Roxanne." Annabelle felt something shift in her heart at his words and a bitter taste burnt at the back of her throat. She put her knife down and with a haughty raise of her chin, pronounced her decision. "No."

Looking at the sun blooming slowly while scattering its rays all over, it feels as if the darkness has surrendered itself to it and the horror of the previous night has been relieved bare for all to witness. Blake slowly moves his eyes across the hall. The blood is seen being splattered all over the wooden floor. The white walls, the original white couch, everything has been dyed in red and dried a long time ago. In some areas, the original color of the carpet can’t be seen at all. It is all in bloody red. Pieces of wolves being torn to shreds, bodies of what seem to be human as well as non-human and pieces of what used to be the door, all has been scattered all over the house.

Upon Hannah’s disappearance she was known to be pregnant, gender unknown. I am surprised it mentions my ancestor is connected to the last known blood red wolf. My guess is Hannah had a daughter. Not all blood red wolves seem to have been discovered as there has to be more than what the book mentions. The further I go into the book I see it mentions each blood red wolf by name, all the way to the first, a girl named Freya. However, the pages are worn and the text is unreadable. I can’t even read what the girl’s last name was. I don’t know if this is the wolf that was cursed by the moon goddess or just the first daughter born with the curse. It’s very infuriating.
