At least I had changed the first part of our fate. Silver Springs was famous for its natural geothermal steam rooms. Clara dragged Liam off to the buffet. Those two were always in sync when it came to food. It was good to see. Seeing her so innocent and carefree, I felt a wave of emotion wash over me. In this life, I just want my sister to be happy. I found an empty sauna. The steam rose, blurring the world around me. I closed my eyes, savoring the moment of peace.

Books 1, which you just read, through 3 will be Davina and Derek's journey to defeat those after her so she can live in peace. Book 4 will follow her daughter Maliyah, Book 5 will follow her twins and book 6 will follow her last child.

Lucy: The Silver was like an allusion. Maybe it was meant to scare the werewolves away. Silver is feared among werewolves, by nature, something I was never familiar with. Something that, in my nature, was welcomed and celebrated. The water beneath the lake was rich in color. Blues, purples, pinks, and greens. Each color swirled within another, mixing and mingling like the sky above, but it wasn't just that that took my breath away; it was something much bigger.

Eric Johnson came home really late. Instead of his usual stop at the master bedroom to chat with Yvonne Johnson, he headed straight to my room. I was already in my pajamas, about to hit the hay, when he softly pulled me out from under my cozy blanket. He gave me a small box. "Wendy, I know you've been eyeing this diamond necklace for ages, so I picked it up for you today." I looked at the shiny necklace in my hands and felt a sad chuckle bubble up inside. It was not the one I liked. The one Yvonne had on that afternoon — that was the real stunner.

, Rose slightly pinched my cheeks. "Thank you", I said. We continued to chat. After a while, April and Rain joined us. "Wow, girls", Aston said coming towards us. Aston Silver, alpha of the Silver pack. The silver pack was a sister pack of Grey Lake. During my grandfather's time, our pack grew rapidly and the human town near our pack grew into our borders. My grandfather's brother Josh Silver took care of the pack which was another side of town. Eventually, people from that side accepted Josh as their Alpha and his descendants continued his position. We're still sharing revenue, strength, school, health services, and many more.

The book was flat, with only a few pages, and that intrigued me even more. I opened the first page and began to read; “The Silver Bloods are a rare breed of werewolves, descended from the moon goddess herself. It is a line of only female wolves. Not that males are born from these females, but they never seem to inherit the qualities of their mother.” Interesting. There were special wolves out there that were more powerful than the norm. I turned a few more pages and stopped; “Characteristics: They appear fairly normal in their human form, except for their silver hair.”

"Come on," Silver said, his voice softening as he turned back to her. "I want to show you something." "We're naked in your bed. What more could you possibly want to show me?" “Let me finish the grand tour. Then we can order food, open a bottle, and recreate the first time we met. But today I’ve got something special.” “What’s that?” Silver grinned and reached into his nightstand, pulling out a small transparent bag filled with icy white powder and a bottle of expensive whiskey. He held them up like prizes.

Without wasting any more time, I rush to the pack’s library. It is a massive place, ancient and breathtaking. Towering shelves stretch endlessly, filled with scrolls and books bound in worn leather. The air smells of dust and wisdom, and the silence feels sacred, like the walls themselves are keeping secrets. “Lady Silver,” a guttural feminine voice calls, and I turn around. Her face lights up with a warm smile. “I’m Danny, the pack’s librarian.” I nod, gazing into her deep blue eyes. “What are you looking for? Can I help you find it?” she asks, her smile bright as ever.

“I use spatial magic didn’t you notice the door? It means I can use all five attributes. Ah! I almost forgot you may receive your membership ID by tomorrow morning.” Their conversation ended after they exchanged short pleasantries. Silver then found a place to stay with the rent of 3 gold beads per month near headquarter. It was a complete rip-off deal. But he argued little and went straight to bed as he was exhausted after all his continuous journey.

“Relax pretty boy, no one is going to hurt you. I will explain everything you’ve just seen.” “Explain?” I shrieked. “Explain what? That Logan is an animal and Kayla is a vampire and you are…what are you?” “A wolf is what I am. And yes Kayla is a vampire.” Silver reached into her tight jeans and pulled out a small transparent box which she tossed at Kayla. It contained green contacts. Everything fell into place. Her eyes. I always thought they were strange but then again I never thought too much about them because my hormones were on a rampage the few times I spoke with her.
