Now I realize there are things that are always only at zero level. I always tell that white lies doesn’t exist. Lies are lies. No sugarcoating, either you lies for good, Lie is still a lie. But this event made my mind go brink. Is there a possibility that evilness can benefit something good? I was just quiet and I still wasn’t talking to Hugh. She serves me the food she has prepared. He touched the bruised on my lips.

I took in a deep breath, glad I caught his attention. “You have been supporting me and trying your best to make me feel safe and welcome here. I really appreciate that. I just want to let you know that I won’t be staying here for long. Once I get a grip on myself and heal completely, I will find a well-paying job and leave at one because I don’t think your wife likes me very much. It was a small white lie to get you to put down all your defenses and give in to me. It was clear that you wanted this and yet you were holding back, for some reason.” I couldn’t even deny that he was right. I was holding back, pretending I didn’t want him. Also, the method was effective. I was driven more by jealousy the night I gave him that strip show. Technically, it had worked.
