Living With A Seal Novels & Stories

He had sent many people to take care of things, but various beasts were emerging from the sealed land one after another, including terrifying demonic creatures. They were tough opponents for practitioners, not to mention a large number of ordinary people in this world, who would only die if they encountered these creatures. At this time, Montel approached Philip. He was the person in charge when Philip was away. “I’ve sent some people to join them to take care of the seal. We can kill the beasts if we encounter them. Since we don't know any sealing techniques, that’s the best we can do,” Montel reported the situation. He had been very busy during this time.

My insides are all a flutter with butterflies, my heart feels like it will explode with happiness and I have had a perma-smile for the last few months. Life couldn't have been more beautiful nor moved as quickly as it has. In just these few months I have moved lock, stock and barrel to live with Sebastian in his ranch just outside of Santa Fe. Nestled in a wondrous spot just outside of the town where he was born. It is a sprawling plot of land where horses can roam freely. We have goats, sheep and a couple of cows. Bella loves tending to them and recently Sebastian bought her geese and ducks that love to bathe in the lake on the land. To say it is a piece of heaven it not a lie. I couldn't e

“But, that’s not what I want to ask. Instead, why are you doing this to her?” “What do you mean Eve?” “One mistake in the past is enough. When you said you started living with humans, I felt worried. You would mess it up because of your personal feelings. In the end, the wolf seal will steal all her energy. And she will die or be dying. Weren’t you the one who created the seal for her?” Eve looked at me with a smirk that really made me tremble. She knew everything.

My arms and legs are shaking and I’m extremely thirsty, but I keep going, knowing that it’s life or death if I don’t. After a while, the sun begins to disappear, and panic rises once more. I don’t want to be out in the ocean alone while it’s dark. But at least I start seeing more sea gulls, which means that they likely nest somewhere nearby. Seagulls live on land, right? God, I hope I haven’t been wrong about this all along.

Slowly, I ducked behind the wooden wall of the house and pressed myself into the shadows. "But the seal?" "It's fine." another one replied. "The incident that happened to her parents should never repeat in this pack!" My fingers curled around the herbs in my hand. It was the first time I had ever heard them speak about my parents like this. Whenever I asked them before, they said my parents were just another couple in the pack. But now, they were talking about them like a mistake that needed to be buried. "That girl was never meant to awaken here." a third voice grimly said. "If the seal we put weakens before she leaves..."

“What happens next?” “She’ll get loose again. And the next time, she might not just be trying to tear your throat out. She may try to slaughter everything within her reach.” I stopped walking for a second to just stare at Sara. "Wait. So you're saying this seal is… literally a bandage." She nodded. “Exactly. And if we want to save Selene from losing herself again… we need a better solution.” “Like what?” “A permanent seal. Something that binds her wolf. Keeps it in check.”

He took the ocean route, which was amazingly scenic. "Since you like dogs," he said, smiling mysteriously, "I think it's safe to say you like other animals." Emily could hardly believe it. They were going to Ocean Sanctuary! The huge building filled with aquariums loomed ahead, and the car turned into the parkade. Inside the park, it was strangely quiet. As Emily approached the seal enclosure, watching the animals swim back and forth in their tank, there was no one else around except her and Byron. "You picked a good day to go," she said.

She looked directly at him. “Your territory is being affected too.” Silence followed. Because now the truth became undeniable. This was no longer Nightfall’s disaster. No longer Althea’s disaster. The entire world was beginning to awaken. Then Varis quietly said the words nobody wanted to hear. “The seal is failing faster than we predicted.” No one answered. Because they were all starting to realize something horrifying. Maybe there was never going to be a way to stop this completely. Only survive it. Then suddenly—

I reply, and her eyes crinkle at the corners, a smile tugging at her lips. She hurries to my side and stares at the seals through their transparent glass cases. "How are they floating like that?" She asks. "They constantly radiate energy. If they are not contained, they are capable of causing an explosion large enough to level the whole city," I explain, and her eyes go even bigger. "That's crazy. I didn't think you were actually keeping them in your bedroom," she comments. "It's not in my bedroom. It's in a different place. West's protective wards are that good," I tell her, and she grins.

Then came the voice I dreaded. “Well,” Reis drawled, stepping from the shadows, blood streaking his jaw but his smirk unshaken. “That was… enlightening. Seems the Seal isn’t just a pretty trinket anymore.” His eyes dragged over me, hungry. “It lives inside her now. Which means she belongs to us both more than ever.” Luther’s growl rumbled through his chest. “Stay away from her.” Reis tilted his head, unbothered. “You can’t keep her from me, brother. You saw what happened. The seal flared for both of us. Without me, she’ll burn alive before the full moon.”
