He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Its eyes glowed with an eerie, green light, and its fur was matted and unkempt. Rorik and Lyra recognized the creature immediately. It was a demon, a being of great power and darkness that had not been seen in the forest for many generations. Ziva's heart sank as she realized the full implications of their discovery. It was a beast quiet similar to the devourers we faced before, except these ones had the head of a python, its stomach wasn't wolf like, it was more like a colorful bird. An explosion of disgust erupted in my stomach. In a few words, it was a grotesque monster with unsettling animal features. ‎ “Aren't they beautiful? I designed them," the system said, its tone filled with pride. A pride which no one shared in. I just glanced down at the doll then back to the big screen. ‎“The Devourers in Level Two rely solely on scent,” the system continued, as though not noticing our displeasure. “Sight and sound are irrelevant to them. Once they smell you, they will find you, and end you."
