The Forgotten wife of the Billionaire

The Forgotten wife of the Billionaire

“London. With her here.” Her lips parted, and then, a slow, genuine smile curved them. The kind of smile that didn't quite reach her eyes but held a hint of a deeper truth. “It feels… lighter.” The word caught me off guard. Lighter. I’d never associated London with anything light. For me, it had always been a battlefield—a place of ruthless contracts, sterile boardrooms, and cold, impersonal hotel rooms. It was a city of ambition and weight. Yet, looking at her now, bathed in the gentle streetlamp glow, at the quiet warmth she carried even when she tried so hard to hide it, I understood. She wasn’t talking about the city; she was talking about herself.

Love me, London

Love me, London

Kitty lightly tapped her chin with her long fingernails, looking like she was trying to get something out off the top of her head and I swore, I was on edge of peeing my pants. "I think it's something...Lo...Lon-" "London."

Pregnant By My Enemy's Fiancé

Pregnant By My Enemy's Fiancé

Dunstan’s ruin; think ethereal, haunted vibes (DON’T trip) and Borough Market; foodie shot opportunity, maybe flirt with a barista? The thing about London is that it doesn’t care if you’re ready for it. It just is. One minute the sky’s a charming shade of dove grey, the next minute it’s crying cold, damp tears on your perfectly blown-out hair. And honestly, it’s not killing my mood. I have a cute trench coat, I’m listening to Marina on full blast in my AirPods, and I’ve had just enough sugar to ignore the fact that my internal organs are probably shutting down from jet lag.

Shattered Bond: Rise Of The Rogue Luna

Shattered Bond: Rise Of The Rogue Luna

Chapter 32 Black Symphony of the Bank The financial district of London, known to locals as the City, was a dense labyrinth of towering glass skyscrapers and narrow, medieval alleyways that had survived the Great Fire. Tonight, the modern office buildings stood dark and empty, their reflective windows showing the flickering orange glow of the distant Tower fires. The streets below were completely deserted, the human population having fled toward the western suburbs, leaving the stone lanes to the silence and the growing weight of the mist.

WILD ADDICTION

WILD ADDICTION

“Two eighty, please.” He counted out the exact change and dropped it on the bar, the sound clinking over the music. “Do you often go home with college kids who wank more often than they fuck?” 'Wank'. What a wonderful word. “Why are you smiling?” I licked my lips. “Wank. It’s a very British word.” “I’m British, if you hadn’t noticed.” “I noticed. Somewhere between you hooking my legs over your shoulders and pinning me against my car.” I leaned against the bar again. “Does it matter if I leave work with college guys?”

Rendezvous

Rendezvous

It took a minute of searching before she recognized the name—Londons. London's pub was even scarier during the daytime when it was used as a makeshift camp for druggies and homeless people. Jade dashed from the taxi across the nearly empty parking lot, getting soaked by the rain in the process. She wrinkled her nose at the stench of earth and urine as she hurried into her car and quickly locked the doors behind her. She used a dry piece of her sleeve to wipe droplets of water from her face before starting the engine.

Couldn’t have asked for a better ending! It was definitely a little slow to get going - the first like 25 chapters seemed to drag on, but once it picked up, it was very intriguing and well written. Recommend reading - good job author!

WANTED HUSBAND: Mommy Wants Romance

Sierra corrected him. “Mom, only those who want to fail would hit the birds with a stone.” London shrugged. “I don’t want to fail so it’s better to aim at them with a stick.” “Err,” Sierra laughed awkwardly. “I guess. If that’s what you want then.” “Hello?” London greeted as he spoke to someone on the call. “Mr. Bennett! How’s the website going?” “Good morning to you, Mr. L.” A grown-up man’s voice responded.

Her Worst Nightmare

Her Worst Nightmare

We can see them, they can't see us. 'What do you mean?' 'Out there is London. Islington to be exact, closer to the border of Camden than Hackney, mind you,' he said. 'In here? Well, you're about as far away from Islington as you could hope to get.' I rubbed at my temples, feeling the beginnings of a headache splintering out across my skull. 'Can you do me a favour and not talk in bloody riddles all the time?'
