As Alpha Zachariah makes his way through PowerMoon territory, he gets updates from each of the teams, letting him know that the breeding camp he is heading for is Valentino’s main camp. Zachariah entered the next warrior's camp. This one was slightly different to all the others, with more of Valentino’s higher-ranked warriors inside. Zachariah faced 4 warrior Lycans, taking out each one after a reasonable fight. Once he was fighting the last warrior Lycan facing him, Zachariah has a slight misstep collapsing to his knees as he feels a sharp pain shoot through his chest, but still managed to just dodge the Lycan’s advance that was attacking him.

“Four.” The lives of innocent people are on the line. “Three.” The honor of every warrior on both sides is riding on the defeat of one pack and the victory of the other. “Two.” The outcome from today's events would either clear a path to my revenge or be the driving point to my downfall. “One…” “Wait!” I paused in my words and we all turned out heads to the young warrior who stood 3 feet away from us. Sweat covered his skin and heavy pants fell from his lips. He’s one of the warriors we left behind at the pack.

Every time he heard those discussions, Looney would be full of disdain. Were long-ranged warriors all idiots that would just let their opponents get close? As long-ranged warriors, the main focus was always to maintain a distance between them and their opponents. Only then would they be able to attack. Anyone who wanted to attack them would have to pay a painful price! With that in mind, Looney had experienced many large battles before. Plenty of his fellow disciples had died, but he was still alive. Some of those fellow disciples had even mocked his choices, but they were all dead now!

It took a few seconds before I heard him answer. “Yes. But I was attacked and wounded.” My brows furrowed and I began to walk toward the place where the voice is coming from. I didn't recognize his voice but since he is from the cold mountain pack territory, he must be a warrior who's been attacked by rogues. “Are you alone?” The Warriors are supposed to be walking with a buddy since we have a bit of a situation in the pack but why is he speaking like he is alone? “Yes, my buddy has been killed by the rogues we encountered on the road it happened so fast that I was not able to mind link anyone from the warriors and now you are here so please help me.”

On the screen, my face was completely covered by a wide-brimmed hat and a mask. The oversized black trench coat concealed my body shape entirely. Patrick only recognized me because he had known me for years. Just one glance at my silhouette, and he was certain. Mom barely spared the screen a glance before scoffing dismissively. "Enough, Patrick. If you're trying to use this to make me care about Aubree, then you're an embarrassment to that uniform you're wearing. If that jinx Aubree really is dead, make sure to let me know right away. I'll cook up a feast to celebrate."

But since she was parched, she finished the wine in a single gulp. The man moved closer to the fire. Close enough for Jade to notice a long main of silver hair that was tied back in a half-ponytail. Jade was confused. The man didn’t look to be that old. At least, based on his voice alone, he sounded quite sprightly and young—perhaps just a few years older than she was. “I believe you, by the way,” the man said. “My name is Jin. I’m a trader.” “Jade… er… I’m a student.” Jade stuck out her hand to shake his, but quickly put it down when he showed no signs of wanting to acknowledge it.

The warrior stands as Quinn reaches him and asks, “Hey Quinn, what’s your problem man, it’s not like she’s marked. That makes her fair game for anyone so back off.” Quinn lets out one of the most menacing growls I have ever heard from the guy. He grabs the warrior by the throat, lifts him into the air and body slams him to the ground. “I SAID SHE IS MINE! This is your last warning. Touch her again and I will kill you.” As Quinn pins the warrior to the ground, his pack mates start exiting the water to come lend a hand if needed. The warrior that was on the ground must have linked them to stay out of it because they all came to an abrupt stop about ten feet away from where he was.

Andrew smiled and pulled her up, and the two continued their escape. He explained, "That guy's name is Jahmir Robles, a notorious lone wolf from the Northern Martial Union. Among the powerhouses at the martial emperor level, most have retired or semi-retired, prioritizing reputation and seniority. But this man? He's like a vulture, ruthless and shameless."
