The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

Their lack of devotion over the years—few ever visited his small, often empty church—stemmed from their unwavering faith in the River God, or rather, the arrogant and lecherous lizard they mistakenly revered. This neglect had left the Earth God without a proper dwelling, akin to a wandering spirit. Though he was due for his biannual decline, he now felt an invigorating surge of power. The Earth God carefully placed one end of the long red ribbon in Aria's hand and the other in Landon's. Two empty seats awaited Clyde and Warren. With a gentle nod, the Earth God then prompted them to begin their wedding vows. But as Landon started to speak, a violent surge of energy ripped through the Netherre

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

She drove her hand straight through the god’s chest. Its divine armor shattered like glass. Her fingers closed around something burning, screaming, alive, its core. Khar’jun’s voice faltered for the first time. “Wait” Lyra crushed it. The explosion was silent. The god’s light collapsed inward on itself, imploding into a burst of dying starlight. When the dust settled, nothing remained of Khar’jun but a smoking crater and drifting ash. For one frozen heartbeat, A god was dead. Truly dead. The boy stared, chest heaving. “You just”

Never Lonely Again

Never Lonely Again

"I know. You've told me before that you're not ready for a new relationship. So… when you are, can I be the first?" His eyes shone like the stars, and as she stared into them, the words of rejection she had planned to say vanished. She smiled softly. "Since you asked so sincerely, I'll reluctantly agree." He grinned, ignoring her "reluctance", and pulled her into a tight embrace, his heart swelling with a quiet joy. Zander had been waiting for her through many lonely seasons. But he believed that the next cycle would be different—this time, he wouldn't be lonely again.

Rejected By The Alpha Claimed By The Lycan King

Rejected By The Alpha Claimed By The Lycan King

"I'm not lonely. I have everything I need. Everything I want." "Now you do." Hope looks sad. "But what about in a hundred years? A thousand? Ten thousand? Everyone you love will die eventually. Even me. Even God dies someday. And you'll be left. Alone. Individual. Eternal. And that's when the Absolute will come. When you have nothing left. When loneliness finally wins. When you're ready." Horror floods through me. "You're saying I'll eventually choose it? Inevitably? No matter what I do?"

In My Lonesomeness

In My Lonesomeness

They bathed together, ate together, and went shopping together, just like what a couple deeply in love would do. I didn't make a scene as I simply watched them show off their affection in silence. With five more days left in the divorce's waiting period, Julian suddenly suggested climbing a snow-covered mountain. He insisted that I come, too. Halfway up, Evelyn had left to get something, leaving Julian and me alone. The gentleness on his face vanished at once, replaced by a cold stare. "Why are you still hanging around here? Do you really think Evelyn will fall for you eventually?"

A God’s Tale

A God’s Tale

The fiendish war had raged on since long before Elika was born, neither side showing compassion. The battles raged on through the centuries untamed and savage, no side allowing quarter. The deaths were heinous and unprincipled; those who died would not rest silently. Their sinful battle would continue onward, the souls forever locked in limbo where they would endure the tortures of death lingering on their monstrous souls. Not many remember the true beginning of the impure and putrid war, the centuries moulding and bending it into only myth. Those who do remember the beginning speak not of the times of peace, when all mystical beings lived together, when the gods worked as one to preserve an

I Alone

We also have a hard time distinguishing in extremely crowded areas where scent can mix and mingle. I follow him from the woods where we reside in a large older house, all the way into the city and in to the next one over. I move as quickly as I can, dying to know what Jonah is up to. It takes me a moment to find him, as he is also invisible, but soon he appears and I find him trailing the girls. They walk together through a park area, a bag of food and drinks, and a notebook? I believe it's a notebook.

The Forgotten God

The Forgotten God

"You will remain here." The streets below were home only to ghosts and shadows now. The people were cowering in whatever safe haven they could find, whether it be the claustrophobic aisles of a department store or the dark back room of an office. Anywhere was better than the bubbling mire outside. The heat from the burning blood would not affect the deity who once walked in his own volcanic Eden. Nor did it affect the creatures he crafted but it certainly made their way more taxing. Isaac watched as a soft haze encapsulated the God's body and slowly, he began to fade, glowing translucent and glorious.
