Lord Of Flies Novels & Stories

Marcus shakes his head, even now broken and battered he can't admit his faults but that's fine with me we know them and that's all that matters. "Burn in hell bastard!" I grit out then I drop the lighter to the ground, within seconds the whole circle is lit up, the flames roaring to life and rising fast. The grass beneath his feet quickly catches alight and he's soon screaming with everything he has, begging for us to stop it, begging for us to save his life. I wonder how many wolves begged for their life when he attacked moonshine? The flames flicker at his skin and burns soon start appearing over his body as the flames reach his clothes.

Everyone moved a little back and away from the Lord. Demons spread their wings and are now flying in the air. Max and Lucifer who has Black wings presented as a gift for the Lord of the underworld spread their wings as well. Darius too is now flying a little higher in the air away from the reach of the Lord. Max nodded to Darius, so Darius picked up Thea and Max picked Amber away from there. The crazed lord saw Theodora and lost all the sense and clarity. His only target now is Thea. So he ran after Them like a crazy beast jumping as high as he can with the help of the poison.

Seriously? "Go away!" we were surprised when Henry shouted. He's now controlling the water around to protect us. When I looked behind us we saw men. And one of them is riding in a lion. And his trait, he's controlling the land. The ground we tread on is slowly crumbling. But before we were buried in the ground. A man is carrying an air horse. We boarded right away. I looked at Henry and his friends who's now busy fighting the men. "He's gonna be fine." Leon's condolences to me. I just nodded. We started flying and went to their camp.

It was a violent, beautiful evolution occurring in the span of a few breaths. The Sky-Wolves dove into the stream around us, their light-wings spanning ten feet as they acted as rudders for the drifting Feral-Sovereigns. They caught those whose forms flickered and fell, pulling them back into the light-stream with the practiced ease of shepherds. We were a migration of the damned, rising to meet the stars.

POV: The time has been reversed to more than half a day ago from Birdman's perspective. After bidding farewell to two foolish bears in the jungle, the Birdman struggled to flap his wings in the hail, with one wing protecting the leather bag. He flew for a while and fortunately stumbled upon an overhanging cliff where he landed to take shelter from the midnight rain. Now, he is an adult bird from the Joke tribe and his name is Minee. He waited under the cliff until the hail transformed into rain and snowflakes before continuing to flap his wings and fly outside of the jungle. Despite flying for four or five consecutive days, he was extremely tired.

For the first time since making a pact with two demon princes, I feel glad that I managed to get Leviathan since he has the most common sense out of the other two. Leviathan nods, raising a hand up and making a fist before pulling it down, like he is pulling something. I hear several pops amidst the chaos and soon, water begins to rain down on us. The flies started to become frantic, trying to avoid the million water droplets. Flies began to drop one by one and they were buzzing so much that it was disgusting. I hate to imagine what it would feel like if those flies were crawling on my skin. I feel like I kind of sympathize with Belphegor's disgust with the flies at some point.

The brown haired greeted sheepishly, with flushed cheeks, while internally cursing his loud mouth. “Hello.” Lucas greeted back, with a small smile, a little amused at the seemingly embarrassed expressions on the boy’s face. “Oh my! That means this cutie lives here too!” Augustus exclaimed quickly changing the topic and bent forward, lifting Evan in his arms, who happily giggled, as they headed inside, one by one. The brown haired had only just arrived, but it amazed Lucas, at how he fit in so well, he observed it was a part of the boy’s vibrant personality, and it was a total contrast to his own zombie like self.

The person you're facing right now thinks it's a good idea to play with others peoples lives and also has the audacity to drag them into what's suppose to be their own business. Well he's wrong. You're gonna prove him wrong. The sky is a widow’s sky, bedarkened and weeping. The clouds are churlish and kraken-cruel. They cough out great gouts of water and thunking balloons of sopping moisture. It teems down in a biblical deluge, flooding the rivers, drowning the fields and overflowing the dams. It is a Noah’s-Ark cataclysm of rain, an unending cataract of water sluicing from the sky.

He looked at the empty plate, then at the girl. - Is there anything else to eat? - he asked with a pitiful look, looking back at the refrigerator. She looked into pleading blue eyes, exactly like the dog's. The guy’s behavior was somewhat strange: he either showed with his entire appearance that she was insulting him, then immediately switched gears and asked for food. “You already ate almost everything from me,” the girl complained. And she added: “Only yesterday’s pilaf remains.” What kind of voracious wolf are you? He changed his face, became more serious, and even began to look somehow older and more dangerous.

But when her words ended, silence didn’t follow. Lio stepped forward first. The wiry, quiet boy who rarely spoke above a whisper clutched a scrap of parchment in his ink-stained hands. His face was pale, his dark curls damp with sweat, but his chin lifted. “You won’t go alone,” he murmured. His fingers trembled as he held up the paper. In the torchlight, the others could see what he’d drawn: a wolf. But not just any wolf, its back stretched with wings, its body caught mid-leap, as though it was soaring into something greater.
