It was a given for me to get lost trying to find my way to campus. Getting lost meant getting late to the dorm and finding all my belongings thrown outside. The dorm administrator was so mad because having a boy sleep in a girls dorms was perceived as a very serious crime. If she were to find anything belonging to me in the dorm she had wanted me and my roommate gone by the end of the day, he would throw it away without second thought. I did not want that happening at any moment. It would be embarrassing.
