It has an ornate metal clasp on the front which locks the pages giving the illusion of it being a box. I run my fingers over the clasp and it clicks open. I feel my wolf push to the front of my mind but I'm so engrossed in the book I hardly even notice. I open the cover carefully and look at it. On the inscription page is some writing and a hand drawn picture of a wolf in black ink. I read the inscription out loud. 'Journal of Lycius 1800AD' "Where does it say that?" Hunter says looking over my shoulder.

He glanced at me questioningly, but all I could do was shrug and apologize again, on behalf of my drunken friend. “I guess she had a little too much to drink,” I whispered. He laughed. “A little?” Julie tapped him. “Are you Prince Charming?” “What?” he replied, turning the key in the ignition, “because I helped bandage you up?” “Are you the hot guy from the woods?” Julie asked, ignoring his question. “The hero who saved Little Red Riding Taylor from the big, bad mountain lion?”

His red eyes watched Kayden a few seconds more until they shut out forever. It was over. When the rogues saw that, they started to run in all directions, so the border was safe again soon. They gave up, for now, until they found a new leader, but Kayden was doubtful that it would be like Clark, he was a bastard. "Blake, get the bad wounded warriors to the hospital, the others can clean this mess", Kayden said, still holding Clark's heart in his hands, He was still grateful. "Yes Alpha, what are we going to do with him?" He asked, looking at Clark's lifeless body.
