By the time I arrived at my destination, it was already noon the next day. As soon as I got off the train, I spotted my mother from a distance, standing in the crowd.
She rushed toward me, saying reproachfully, "Why are you back so soon? Train tickets are not cheap, you know. If Scott knew, he would be upset."
