Lost In The Snow Novels & Stories

“Of course. Do you remember the number?” Adriana only remembered Snow’s number. “Who is this?” Snow’s voice came through, irritated. She was wary of unfamiliar numbers, likely due to being hounded by gossip reporters—enough to wear down anyone’s patience. “Snow, it’s me! I lost my phone—this is someone else’s number. Let me tell you something, but take a deep breath first!” Snow let out a tense breath as she tried to process the situation. After nodding instinctively—then realizing she couldn’t be seen through the phone—she said, “Okay, okay, go ahead.”

She asked again using a term she thought he understood. "No, she saved my life once, it almost took hers but she saved me. That's why I stand with her, that's why I'm loyal." Ruby silently looked around her and breathed heavily. Zane took his Jaguar form and he sprinted away. She stared back at the path she didn't remember walking through and took it. Walking till she got to the wall of bushes. She pushed and squeezed her way through the bush. Seansha stared at the King. "I don't think she is here." He said already losing hope.

I looked at Adrian’s name carved into the stone. “I don’t hate him anymore.” That was all I could give. Years later, when Theo asked about Adrian, Julian told him that Adrian had made many wrong choices, but in the end, he protected his mother. That night, Julian asked me, “If you could go back, would you still choose him?” I shook my head. Adrian gave his life to make one final choice. I would remember what he did and always be grateful that he saved me. But gratitude could not bring love back. My love for Adrian Moretti had ended that Christmas Eve, when my father died in the snow.

I gently closed the newspaper and threw it into the blazing fireplace in front of me. The tongues of fire instantly swallowed the paper, swallowing that name and that past soaked in blood and betrayal. "Nothing." I took a sip of coffee, warmth spreading through my body. "I just think the fire is warm tonight." Outside the window, snow was falling heavily, covering the world in white. And my story was just beginning. (The End)

Damien was crushing his ribs. In the next minutes, Damien and Brian disappeared into the arms of blizzard surrounding us and they were lost in wall of falling snow and mist. As l watched , l felt my body rushing through the air as if I was one with the wind. The two fighting forms came into sight once more and blood splattered across a fresh layer of snow.

My legs were twisted, crushed under the weight of the snow. Shawn collapsed as he finally saw my corpse. The tool clattered to the ground. He stared blankly at my corpse as he shook his head vehemently.

However, what came instead was news of a blizzard sealing off the mountain and a search team returning with nothing but a damaged hiking boot. I clutched that boot at the funeral and fainted three times from crying. To find his body, I sold our home and hired a private rescue team, staying at the foot of the mountain for half a year. From there, I developed severe bipolar disorder. The scars on my wrists layered over each other, one on top of the next. A broken laugh escaped me, and I couldn’t stop the tears from falling. “You’re right. People should look to the future.” I wiped my tears away and straightened my back, forcing myself to look composed.

Since the company belonged to Jessica, she should have had every advantage when it came to evidence. After all her scheming, she destroyed herself over something as ridiculous as air conditioning. Looking at how miserable she appeared, I let out an icy laugh. “Actions have consequences,” I said. “Who told you to sacrifice everyone else’s health just to protect Elliot? “So how does it feel getting hit by your own decisions? “Oh, and speaking of videos, I remembered another one.” I pulled up a second recording. This one showed the entrance to the lab.

As rain started to fall, I belatedly remembered how the weather forecast said it would get colder later in the night, and maybe even start to snow. Once it starts snowing in Atlanta, it never seems to stop. I used to dread winter, but Lucas would always wrap me in his coat several sizes larger than I was, keeping a warm blanket available in his car just for me. Looking back now, those moments of so-called happiness were never meant to last. As the rain poured harder, strands of hair stuck damply to my forehead, and my steps wavered almost to the point of collapse. I shook my head and let out a bitter laugh. How did my life end up like this?

Back then, she had been captured by the Spirale Clan, leaving behind only a letter before disappearing without a trace. Winter must have been worried sick. Snowy sighed. Then, as she looked up, she froze in shock. At the far end of the street, a familiar figure flashed past. "Winter!" Snowy called out and rushed after her. She weaved through street after street, eventually reaching a park. By the lake pavilion, she finally saw the familiar figure standing there. "Winter…" Snowy slowly walked forward. Inside the pavilion was Winter. "Winter! It's really you!" Snowy's face lit up with joy and disbelief. She dashed forward and threw her arms around her, holding her tightly.
