Can't believe I just had my first drink of alcohol ’ I thought. When in got inside the club, there I saw about five hundred human body's dancing around. Some people were grinding into each other that even my finger couldn't have fit between them. There were so many people that it was difficult to step in. Lydia held my hand as she pushed us among the crowd, we had to get bar but it wasn't until our grind with the others. Finally we got to the bar, I was already feeling dizzy. I felt like dancing to the song that was playing ‘no dulling’ by Keche featuring Kwami Eugene. So I got up and started dancing and this was also the first time I was dancing with so many people.

But if I had someone who was willing to help me out of my loneliness, even for a short period of time, would I take it? “Honey,” a male voice interrupted our silence, and we turned to see Luisa’s husband giving her a kiss on the cheek. “Dance with me,” he said and extended his hand to her. She looked back at us for permission. We nodded with a smile on our faces. “Go dance with your husband,” I chuckled. She hugged us briefly and left with her husband, who greeted us with a soft smile and a nod.

*** Later in the evening, the host's voice echoed through the speakers. "Attention, everyone! It's time for the highlight of the night, the partner dance! Please pair up with your chosen partners and gather on the dance floor." A lot of sudents started pulling their partners onto the floor. Gabriel turned to me while offering his hand like a gentleman. "Shall we, partner?" I smiled nervously and took it. "Let's go." The music started. An upbeat Y2K love song, the kind you would hear on an old cassette tape. The lights dimmed and was replaced by colorful spotlights that spun slowly across the dance floor.

She purred. I heard Louise scoff before she looked at me. “Want to go dance?” She asked me in a low tone. I nodded my head. Still holding her hand, we got up and went to take a step before Robbie squeezed my hand. I forgot I was still holding his hand. “Where are you going?” He whispered to me. I just nodded my head to the dance floor and he understood for the most part as he let go of me. We walked towards the dance floor and veered off. Louise was heading towards the bar.

Which is more vodka than anything. “Business.” Is all he says and I nod my head, not really interested, as I want to dance some more. I stand up, and Lola follows as we go back to the dance floor. I stiffen slightly, but for some reason, I relax as I dance back into who it is. I turn my head and see the most gorgeous man I have ever seen.

Later that night, when she and Monica stepped into the dance hall of the Palais, the band was playing a fair approximation of Glenn Miller’s ‘In the Mood’. ‘Ooh, I love this tune. Don’t you?’ Monica said, wiggling her shoulders so that her full breasts jiggled provocatively. Hazel agreed that she did — the sound of brass instruments always caused a shiver to run down her spine. Her feet began tapping in time to the music. The floor bustled with dancing couples and the air was filled with the scent of warm bodies, perfume, and cigarette smoke. She smoothed her hands down the front of her dress, feeling self-conscious.

I staggered backwards a bit after his hand made contact with my bare waist; he caught me at the right moment, and I gave him a reassuring smile. Mr. Raymond holds me securely as my feet tower towards the dance spot. Getting there, he spun me around to make us stand face-to-face with each other. His hand snaked to my waist while the other held into my palm tenderly, and we began to dance to the musical rhythm of the classic song by "Hills." "Yop, it's time to get freaky; it's time to get naughty; ooh, it's time to get fucked up." The crowd chorused as the DJ changed the song, thereby declaring a change of dance.

There were in a ton of cliques in the small Pelican Bay High School where we attended, but that didn't stop his sister from being a friend to everyone. The world is lacking one hell of an amazing woman with her loss. Everyone is still picking up their pieces. But there's no time to spend being upset over things I can't control. "Come on, Leah, dance with me!" Laura grabbed my hands and pulled me to the dance floor. Everyone was clapping and cheering for us, so I had no other option but danced with her.

Daisy said. "Anyways since we are now together, I and Lora plan to do a show together. She sings and I dance my ballet, It will be fun and will be a big show." Nora said, lifting up one of her legs and started dancing around her room. Daisy flew away from her shoulder and started dancing ballet in the mid-air together with Nora. Nora stopped dancing after a while and smiled at her little fairy who was still dancing nonstop. She took that opportunity to excuse herself and went straight to her bathroom and took her bath.
