Endless love
Outside the hotel, James looked at the scene, smoke escaping from the last window and a small crowd of people huddled in the doorway.
The drive to the Campbell mansion had never been so long. He longed to meet Meg again after all these months apart. He would finally get that tight noose around his neck and breathe again. She was as vital as oxygen itself. He needed to beg for her forgiveness and declare his love. Not necessarily in that order. He would say that he loved her, that he had always loved her, but he had been a fool.
