You have a gorgeous body, Dolly.” My cheeks flushed again, and I was very sure my face was red. “Thank you, Gael.” “What was that?” he asked. “Thank you?” He laughed lightly. “Dolly, you have some serious low self-esteem issues, but we’ll tackle that. Where was that in this simpleton? All Yelena could see at the moment was a boy with zero self-esteem who could only resort to using cheap tricks to make friends while flipping her pancakes. Although Alva is not a villain, no one likes someone who hurts the main character.

Whenever her heart fluttered, she would instantly force herself to stay grounded. She cautioned herself not to long for what could never be hers and not to fall deeper for him, knowing they had no future together. Besides, she wasn't worthy of him. She was merely an orphan raised by Jameson and later defiled by various men. Her face, despite its beauty, was the reason behind her low self-esteem. She refused to believe that Axel would catch feelings for a worthless plaything that bore a resemblance to his sist
