Moonlit Shadows

Moonlit Shadows

Fuck. Something runs past me hiding in the shadows of the woods. I stop in my tracks, scared of death. I can almost hear my heartbeat. My blood is raging in my veins. "Show yourself," I yell angrily. I hear a low growl and see strange eyes focused on me for a second. I scream and fall to the ground. "Alice! Alice! Alice!" The voices have gotten closer. Something is definitely following me in the woods. I stand to my feet hurriedly. My cloth and shoes have mud stains on them. "Fuck," I grunt. The midnight bell rings from afar in the village. What a hell of a way to start my eighteenth-year birthday. I hear the growling clearly as it draws closer to me. My hands are shaking as I grab the dagge

Tides Of Betrayal

Tides Of Betrayal

I said after a while, letting go slightly as she found her balance. She grinned up at me, her face glowing in the sunlight. “Not bad at all.” In that moment, with her laughter filling the air and her body so close to mine, I realized something. I was completely and utterly screwed. Then I spotted a wave approaching. She noticed and her eyes widened with panic. I was about to calm her down when, without thinking, she wrapped her legs around my waist and wrapped her arms around my neck, burying her face in my neck as the water hit us.

Alpha Blake's Broken Luna

Alpha Blake's Broken Luna

The cold of it isn’t cold, it’s the temperature of old midnight, of a river under ice or of a room emptied of noise so a song can be sung. The last thing I see over my shoulder is Oloron standing with a hand lifted in a blessing that isn’t human, and Tara’s face tilted up toward the ceiling like she’s listening to a nursery rhyme only shadows know. The first thing I see ahead is a stair that wasn’t there yesterday, lit from within by a light that never learned how to glare, and the faint outline of a hall carved out of gloam. Dawn stretches and hums. ‘Good,’ she says, sharp and pleased. ‘Let’s go meet our in-laws.’

Started the book 2 days ago and I'm really enjoying it so far. Thank God the FL met Alpha Blake who is just amazing in protecting her. Still curious about her wolf and why Alpha Bane can still feel the mate bond.

wonderful book! hard to put down! I had actually read it last year, but did not realize that I had until I was halfway into it, so I had to read it again to the end! there are a few grammaical errors, but not enough to cause issues.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

A deafening roar ripped through the air as black-and-white light collided with golden radiance. The shockwave blasted outward, obliterating everything in its path. Half of Suncrest Hall's roof was torn away, and the neighboring halls crumbled. Dust and debris filled the sky, blotting out the sun. Under the impact of the golden fist, the phantom of the Twilight Fish wavered. Its black-and-white glow flickered like a candle in a storm before scattering into the air like stardust.

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

the storyline is amazing. Love the FL. She is strong, fierce, righteous and so unaware. Landon is amazing, so supportive and heart warming tho feel sad for him he is unappreciated. I wish Fiona the best and hope she gets true love Owen never deserved her. Love grandpa Warren and Barron. It's amazing

Court Of Fae And Ruin

Court Of Fae And Ruin

With each flutter, the world around me blurs and distorts, until finally, I surrender to the soothing darkness that beckons me into its depths. *** I stirred awake, the soft fingers of sunlight teasing my skin as they slipped through the curtains. With a groan, I shifted in my bed, my gaze wandering to the window. The feeble light outside hinted at the peculiar time of day—it was the Twilight Court, where daylight dared not linger.

Unveiling The Vampire's Omega (Bound By Blood Freed By Love)

Chapter: 4 ******* TALON: As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the ocean, the waves crashed against the rocky shore with a rhythmic and soothing sound. The salty breeze carried the scent of the sea, mingling with the distant chirping of seagulls soaring overhead.

The Rejected Blood Moon

The Rejected Blood Moon

> thrum … silence … thrum … silence … The rhythm echoed louder, until the reflection shattered into golden mist. The sea went still again. --- The Chamber of Light Liora sank slowly through the calm water until her feet touched solid ground — though there should have been none beneath the waves. A vast plain of golden sand stretched around her. Above, the Blood Moon glowed faintly through the water’s surface, and the ocean rippled like glass. In the center of the plain stood a column of fire — not burning, but alive. The Flow. She approached it carefully. It pulsed with color —

Wildwood: The veins of the earth

The creatures were not here to attack her. They were waiting for her. ⸻ The Depth Below Down by the shore, where the cliffs met the tide pools, something vast shifted in the depths. A ripple rolled through the black water—something beneath, coiled and watching. Emily knelt at the edge of the rocks, her reflection twisting. Her breath came slower now. Because she could feel it in the salt wind, in her blood. “The tide rises. The shore breaks. The flesh garden opens. One vessel opens the gate.

Submitting To The Devil - The Devil's Snare - Book Two

Submitting To The Devil - The Devil's Snare - Book Two

We emerged into the vast expanse of the ocean, where the gentle waves lapped playfully at our feet, their cool touch a refreshing balm against the heat. The tide still lingered at a miraculously low point, revealing the soft, grainy sand beneath us where little fish moved with speed through the water. I glanced up at the sun, its golden rays beginning to dip towards the horizon—four p.m. or later, I guessed—a stark reminder that time was slipping away, making way for an evening of darkness, the same evening I prayed for just an hour or so ago.

Cherish Me, Daddy

Cherish Me, Daddy

ELI'S POV When Marin pulled the boat free of the tide and dragged it onto that jagged stretch of rock, the moon was a thin sickle hovering behind a veil of clouds. It is already midnight. I could still taste the brine on my tongue, the cold that had gnawed at my ribs the moment the sea tried to claim me. The waves muttered against the cliffs in a rhythm that felt like a summons; each slap of surf against stone was a reminder that the ocean never truly lets go.
