The Pack's Triquetra

The Pack's Triquetra

He sighed heavily with a slight shrug that caused his hair to fall over his face, something he did when he didn’t want to look someone in the eye. “Within a pack, there’s a hierarchy. Alpha, Beta, Gamma, et cetera. But within each rank there’s always wolves that are more dominant. It works out, because we all know where we are, and we’re all loyal to the pack, except sometimes, there’s a wolf who is less loyal, less connected to the pack, and less willing to accept orders, to fit in.”

Fantastic follow up to the first book. I keep going back to the first one to reread the corresponding chapters. It’s so good to see all the perspectives. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Such a clever way to present a story. I’m hooked. I’ll read anything this author puts out at this point.

White Wolf.

White Wolf.

the beta says, looking at the two boys who are looking at me like I grew another head. "Remember when we said there's two grey wolves and one white one?" alpha Aiden asks. "Yes, alpha," River answer him, he's much bigger, he's almost the size of an adult wolf while I stayed my small self. "White wolves are special wolves, only six of them exist, do you know why they are super important to the pack?" alpha Rowan explains. "They are omegas? Well, what's left of them," River says, and the beta nods proudly, he must have explained that to them during the classes.

Sean growled. “But that’s how our hierarchy works,” Johnny said, sounding unsure. “By strength?” Adina asked. “Yes. The alpha is the strongest. He gets the highest rank and can sit around all day doing nothing, to the ordinary wolves like us. We have to do most of the work to support the alpha and the pack. The only one lower than us are the omegas and women,” he explained. “Your father told you this?” Sean asked. Johnny nodded. Adina was too stunned to say anything.

Owned By My Bully's Alpha

Her wolf was almost as big as mine. “What’s that?” She asked. “You’re an Alpha female. The highest-ranked wolf in the pack, and you’re my mate. How lucky am I?” A blank look washed over her wolf’s face. “Whoa, are you sure? My wolf didn’t feel so big next to yours. I felt like a rat.” “I’m the Supreme Alpha. My wolf’s bigger than everyone else’s. Comes with conquering territories and defeating other Alphas in battle.” “I forget how old you are sometimes,” she commented.

My Luna, My Son, My Regret

My Luna, My Son, My Regret

My jaw dropped, but I quickly gathered my bearings to see what on earth is going on. The brown wolf strikes again, this time at the largest of them all. It was a black and brown wolf who snarled the loudest. His growl so deep and profound it shook the earth beneath my paws. No wolf had the ability to ignite such a reaction from nature other than a ranked wolf. Alpha, possibly even beta.

Love the story, writing was intense and keeps the storyline moving. I just would have like to have seen the family reunion. Overall amazing writing but be ready for some intense scenes that can trigger some of you. Happy reading!

Needs a little editing, but still really interesting. The author has a way of storytelling that helps you fully immerse yourself in the story. The FMC is the typical weak to strong, but the story has tons of potential. I hope the writer doesn't intend to rely on clichés/tropes.

He Slept With My Sister, When I Was Giving Birth

He Slept With My Sister, When I Was Giving Birth

"The only reason you're here with me is because you're an Omega. Only Omegas have what's compatible with making a wolf hunter." He stared at me, jaw tight. "Omegas are always and will always be on the lowest rank of the wolf hierarchy," I continued. "It can't change. As long as we remain wolves, it will always be that way. And every pack treats your kind as less." I paused, watching his face. "But I can only imagine what it's like in a place like the North, where power and preserving bloodlines is everything." I sighed, looking at him with mock sympathy. "Please. Tell me something else."

he replied. I nodded. He has a point. “So how does this whole werewolf lifestyle work?” “That's a lesson for another day,” he said teasingly. “There's a lot to learn.” “Well, I've seen werewolf movies,” I said. “Alpha is the leader, and then there's Beta, Gamma…Omega is the lowest rank, right?” He nodded. “That's accurate.” “You and your brothers are Alphas, so what does that make me?” I asked.

The Alpha's Trapped Mate

The Alpha's Trapped Mate

“We wolves belong to packs, and those who do not belong to any pack are called rogues. These rogues are the ones that attacked Arkans, where you’ve been hiding...” Logan was impossibly close, and I couldn’t breathe properly as I tried to avoid inhaling his air. “Each pack is headed by an alpha, the highest rank in every wolf pack. Neil Morreti selfishly wants that rank for himself, and to secure it, he needs you. He needs to mark you by biting into your neck and claiming you. But in the long run, he’ll surely reject you. He’ll go as far as killing anyone that stands in his way, and Adelia, unfortunately, is one of those victims.”

The True Luna's Mark

The True Luna's Mark

I also got a better view of his Wolf Mark, as I hadn’t seen much of it under the collar of his shirt last night. It was of a howling wolf head with a paw print wrapped around it. His Mark was black, as most Alpha wolves had. There was a color rank to a mark, with black at the top of the list. The next was red, followed by blue, green, orange, and yellow.

I am so in love with this book! The story is very well written and the characters are highly developed. What I have been enjoying the most about this story, is for everything that is happened Stormie, she still continues to survive, grow, be independent, finds her weaknesses and strengthens them.

The Gigolo Alpha

The Gigolo Alpha

It will wear off within a week. If it were normal wolves, such marking wears off in a day but I wasn't just a wolf. I am an Alpha wolf, a Lycan for that matter. If I had marked her by biting her then it would have been a problem for I wouldn't accept anyone other than my dead mate. Lycans are the highest-ranked wolves, higher than even Alphas themselves. You can say they rule over them, in other words, they are the Alpha of Alphas. And since Lycans are rare, they stand as royalty in front of other wolves.

Frequently Asked Questions

The idea of the 'alpha omega' being the strongest rank in wolf packs is actually a bit of a myth that’s been perpetuated by pop culture. I first stumbled upon this concept in shows like 'Teen Wolf' and some fantasy novels, where the alpha omega is portrayed as this ultra-powerful, almost mystical leader. But in reality, wolf pack dynamics are far more nuanced. Researchers like David Mech have shown that wild wolf packs are more like family units, with parents leading and younger wolves following. The whole 'alpha' dominance thing? That mostly comes from studies of captive wolves, where unrelated individuals were forced together and created artificial hierarchies.

What’s really fascinating is how this myth has bled into storytelling. Games like 'Werewolf: The Apocalypse' and manga like 'Wolf’s Rain' love to play up the alpha omega trope because it adds drama. But if you dig into real wolf behavior, it’s less about brute strength and more about cooperation. The 'omega' is often the pack’s stress reliever, not some hidden powerhouse. Still, I can’t lie—the idea of a secret top-tier wolf is super fun to imagine, even if it’s not scientifically accurate.
