Lucas opened the box himself and placed the broken flash drive on the table. “Recover it.” The doctor looked at Adrian. Lucas’s anger flashed. “Do not look at him. I spoke.”

Steam rose under the bathroom door. His voice hummed low from inside. Lucas stood in the hallway, heart thudding. This was his chance. He walked quickly to the bedroom, closed the door behind him, and grabbed his laptop. He plugged in the flash drive with shaky fingers.

*Flashback. That night, right about eight minutes after the burial is completed and the casket covered, Lucas walks down, all of his hair drenched and suit completely dripping wet, he walks down to his car. Then, he sees Lusia and Logan walk by some meters up ahead, they were walking quite briskly so he closes the already open car door and follows them. He sees them as they approach a man dressed in a suit as well. Lusia taps him and he turns around.
