Zika almost threw away her phone out of anger and disappointment, but she soon realized that she didn't have enough money if she had to buy another phone because of the money she had been given to the bad guy. Lucia shouted, stopping anything else I might have wanted to say. "I don't," I replied. "But if you want to tell me…" "I was a revolving door for El Lobo's men!" Lucia said, tears starting to roll down her cheeks. "El Lobo thought he was saving me for something or someone—I don't know—but that's not how it worked out. That's not how it worked out at all!"

Messages appeared and vanished in the blink of an eye. As he keeps talking, Lucia wonders if he just likes to hear himself talk, or he doesn't realize that she isn't listening to him.
