At no time did he have any thoughts of revenge. "What are you waiting for? Smother him with the pillow," whispered Lucifer, with a wicked laugh. "What?," Replied Jonah in surprise and then added" I won't do that, I don't want to. "All right, I will take revenge for you," said Lucifer calmly. He thundered his fingers, and Alfredo woke up startled. He did not even see Lucifer because his eyes were focused on Jonah, the deformed boy he had killed. Lucifer moved his hand to hit the wall and stood in front of him, poking his heart out. All this before the astonished look of Jonah.

Tears started running down on my face without me noticing it. “I-I’m so sorry Lucifer.. It’s my *sob* fault.. Maybe if *sob* I only stopped *sob* chasing you *sob* maybe you won’t fracture your leg.. *sob* I’m really really sorry Lucifer…” I began crying like a child in front of Lucifer. “TCH Could you just stop crying like a fucking child there? You’re crying when I’m the one who got injured because of you.” He said, irritated by me.

Until this moment! Just as I recalled the words, the ear piercing cry rung my ears and boil my blood into chaos. I look cautiously as ever while panting harder. The way the cry pierce through my ears, I felt the dread slowly rosing inside me, as if the cry is everywhere and I can't even certain to that very means! “No way...” I clasped my hands tightly, barely reminded by something. The cry is no way of dread itself, but a warning for some unknown that is living undetected in the mountain!

Laughter that born from the lingering fear of facing death and the joy of having survived it. “I love you.” Andrew kissed my forehead, then took my hand, leading me away from the edge of the cliff. “Bria has found the cure for those fake lycans,” he said afterward. “Really? That’s awesome.” Andrew slipped something into my hand. “The lycans are now forcing the rogues to take the cure so they can turn back into humans.” He smiled at me. “After this, there will be no more—” Suddenly, from the corner of my eye, I saw something shoot through the air. The next second, it landed right in front of us with a loud thud, shaking the ground beneath my feet.

“You… did all of this for him?” He smiled. “I believe you can understand a father’s love for his child. Did not your father love you just as much?” I looked down, nodding. I tried not to think of my father often. It was a memory that might never fade. He pat my hand. “Lucianus will be awake soon. He will… know everything. Most importantly, he will be with you.” He sighed. “And finally… I will be with her again.” I gripped his hand. “Vampires can go to heaven?”

Then, with a force that shook the very foundations of the room, she screamed. The sound was deafening, a high-pitched wail of fury that shattered every glass object within range. The men present dropped to their knees, trembling in fear, their heads bowed in reverence. "How dare he!" she roared, her voice shaking the walls, "Does he think he has the right to fall in love with a mortal? He swore an oath to us-he promised his loyalty, and he will honor it!" Her fury swelled as the woman, nervously glancing up, added another detail. "Lucifer believes the mortal is his reincarnated soulmate. That's why he's so attached to her."

I rushed inside and made straight for his study, without even knocking, I flung the door open and rushed inside, “I told you to kill her! I told you that keeping her alive was a bad idea but you didn’t listen.” I yelled, my voice growing louder with each word as my wolf hissed and paced aggressively. A raw snarl ripped from my throat and my claws dug into my palm. “Lyra?” Dad rose sharply to his feet, his face twisted with concern, “what’s wrong? Why are you crying?” “The triplets… they…” I choked out, my body trembling, “they’re mated to her.” I cried out, the last words felt like acid on my tongue.

Lucifer asked and her lips quaked before It parted. "No it's... it's... it's... not what you think". She spurred me on. Lucifer tilted his head to the side, to look at her face and their gaze met. He could scent her fear. "I...I..". Her lips trembled as she couldn't find the right words to say. He was standing dangerously close to her, entrapping her between the wall and his big frame. "Then leave if it isn't" Lucifer said and she knew she couldn't. If she leaves now his brother Lucian would find out that she was spying on him.

My jaw dropped as my knees fell to the floor as I witnessed her blood, falling on her face while her eyes were widely open together with her mouth, then the last tear fell on her cheek until she fell on the floor, lifeless. I couldn't breathe anymore. "No... No! No!" I was trembling in anger and pain as every knife stabbed my chest. "No!" I crawled towards her and touched her hands. "No please no..." My face was full of tears. I couldn't even think properly. My heart was running aggressively. I was catching my breath. I should be the one who saved her. The pointed object was for me. "No! Mia..." "Damn it! It's all your fucking fault!" Lucifer shouted.

My eyes followed diligently as his thick fingers stroked his trimmed beard and he kept me roasting in the torrid silence for some seconds before speaking. "Pour daddy a drink, my liloco." The depth of his voice nearly had me trembling. Liloco. His blooming rose. The blossoming rose he could so ruthlessly cut at the stem and watch wither away if he pleased. My gut feeling told me Lucifer was not very pleased with me, but then again, he always makes me this angsty.
