, I said a little bit loud but not enough of people to hear and she covered my mouth with her hands indicating that I should shut up with her second index finger on her lips Stationed in the position for like 5 seconds, she removed her hands from my mouth and hers from her lips. During the process of her removing her hands from my mouth, she gave a ' talk and get killed ' look. Lucy speaks with her eyes most of the time and as her best friend, I understand everything she is saying with the eyes " I guess the teacher is not in school today" , I said and Lucy scanned her eyes throughout the class and she confirmed that the teacher is nowhere to be found

“O-Okay.” “Hhahahaha! That’s good to hear! I thought you’re going to decline my offer again.” He said. We entered our building together and I was even surprised when I saw Lucy looking at us, she even gave me a smile when our eyes met. It’s not a smile that you usually give someone because you’re happy to see them, it’s a smile that means something, I just don’t know what she’s trying to imply. “Good thing she already gave up on bullying you.” Prince Cleoffe suddenly said.

“Look! Your mom and *hiccup* dad are getting scolded by the people online!” the drunk Lucy stretches out her phone to Tanya’s face to the point of the screen touching Tanya’s face. Lucy laughs hysterically, slumping her body to the table while banging the table with her hands.

Liar, an annoyingly persistent voice whispered in my head. Smiling, Lucy wrapped my arms around me, fiddled with the collar of my shirt. "Good. Don't let the news get you all worked up. Amelia's old news. She's out of our lives and good riddance! Besides... we have something more important to focus our attention on, don't we?" A bit puzzled at her statement, I frowned. "What's that?" Lucy laughed softly, took my hand, slipped it underneath her blouse and rested it on her stomach. "Our baby, silly."

I said while looking at him " shhh, don't say that. She will live, after all she is your cousin " he tried making the mood lively and he succeeded coz a smile escaped my lips. " that's the Lucy I know. You look beautiful when you smile" I gave him a look" what you mean is that I'm always ugly but when I smile I look beautiful right? " He look at me in horror " no no, babe that's not what I meant. You are beautiful with or without smiling ,I was only trying to--"

Lucy's POV She slammed the ring box shut. “You're crazy!” Lucy snarled, leaping up from the sofa as if it scorched her. “So some shiny rock gives you the right to fix my life?” “I think it gives you a way out,” I said evenly, watching her pace like a cornered animal. Her hands shook. “You want me to smile for the cameras and play your pretty little fiancée, just so you can come out squeaky clean?”

He simply replied and started to drive the car. Lucy also didn’t ask anything after that and she started to enjoy the air outside, opening the window on her side. Devlin looked at her and smiled seeing her enjoying but he knew that she is not at peace. She is only showing her fake smile to this world and she is broken inside. But, after this surprise, he only wishes that she can able to smile real.

It seemed to him that Lucy’s smile could cure everything in life. “Lucy,” he called out to her. “Yeah?” Lucy turned her head around and answered with a smile on her face. Hector couldn’t help himself but chuckle. “You truly are a strange girl.” Lucy cocked her head and replied, “Am I?” Hector let out a laugh. Lucy did not know what he was laughing at. After all, she was talking to him seriously. She turned her head around and shouted excitedly when she saw a few shooting stars streaking across the sky, "Look! Shooting stars!"

After eating Lucy saw things excitedly this is the first time Gatlin brough something for her, “what will I do with these thinks, I am not young anymore” Gatlin holds her chin and studied seriously her face “you are more beautiful than young girls” Lucy smiled with this and open a lipstick with light red colour painted on her lips she said to herself “it’s look good” Gatlin is also happy looking at rare smile on her mother’s face and said “didn’t I said your most beautiful”.

She smiled, I glanced at Silas, he was smiling too. “How have you been?” Lucy said, “I have been…doing good,” I answered, “You look just like your mother,” Lucy wiped her tears, “I am being emotional,” Lucy laughed. I joined too, I didn't really think about how to act. I was too excited and nervous. “It's just like Vivia right in front of me” Lucy smiled, she placed her hand over mine on the table. “I never thought this day will come, it's so sad Vivia is not here”
