Lucy’s POV The rest of my days went on without a hiccup. I was so bored I would win a staring contest with a bag of potatoes. That sounded like an exaggeration, but it wasn’t. I had workers, yes. But they innately spoke to me. Probably too scared of Shane. After my lunch, I read a bunch of books I found in the library. By the time I placed the last book down, it was already past sunset. My eyes widened, and I left the library, running towards mine when my ears caught a familiar voice.

I asked him in a loud voice. "Lucy, what's wrong with you, stop shouting." Andrew told me as he looked around us with a nervous smile.
