Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

What they couldn’t hope to understand was that he needed to walk and not just sit around because he did a lot of lying around when he was but a baby. Luis was seven when he was able to summon his shadow. Though it was only for a short amount of time, it made him feel as though he’s the most powerful being in the Islet. He would just stare at the sable-black tint of the shadow, and a tear would trickle down his cheeks. It’s as if he was moving closer to the acknowledgment of his mother. “I told you, you can do it, Luis.” Leonel was smiling from ear to ear, and Luis did not hesitate to smile back.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

This is a remarkable work. The author laid it in a super comprehensive manner with highly descriptive words, thus, the every events just keep on popping in my head like they are being performed in front of my eyes. Also, the plot is full of surprising turns. Dive in to this novel for an adventure.

His Hybrid Luna

His Hybrid Luna

“No more delays, no more excuses. If you want to prove that you’re committed to me and to our bond, then stand before the pack and claim me as your Luna. Publicly. Without hesitation.” His gaze locked onto mine, the intensity of his emotions burning through the silence. For a moment, I thought he might refuse. Then, finally, he nodded. “Very well,” he said, his voice low but steady. “We’ll hold the ceremony. I’ll prove to you—and to everyone—that you are my Luna. No one will ever question it again.” Relief flooded through me, though it was tempered by a flicker of doubt. Was this a turning point, or was I simply clinging to hope?

The False Luna

The False Luna

The rest got lost in the depths of my patience. "And you'll see, Henrique," Carlos said, patting his own chest with that irritating pride, "we're stronger than ever." "I hope so." I only said that, because any more words might come out the wrong way. Bernardo laughed, as if he'd understood some subtext that didn't exist. "You're going to love the reception. The pack house went through a complete renovation. Luna chose every detail." Her name made me turn my gaze back to the road. My sister always had good taste. Always had vision. Always was a better leader than Carlos would admit. Maybe a better leader than he'd ever be.

His Luna His Queen

His Luna His Queen

I shuddered at this thought, avoiding contact with their gawking eyes as Lorenzo led me to the seat beside him. "This is Hayley, my wife and the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack," he announced to the men, admiration in his eyes. "Please accord her the same respect you would have for me." "Yeah right," one of the men sneered rolling his eyes. "Ask her if she has handmaidens I can transport the other side of the world for money or cousins that look as beautiful as her." I saw anger flicker across Lorenzo's eyes, but I placed my hand over his signaling him to come down. Meeting with these types of men wasn't going to be easy, and we had just started.

His Luna, His Ruin

His Luna, His Ruin

_*]:min-w-0 gap-3 standard-markdown"> Six months after the night the world changed, Blood Moon territory had a new sound. Two of them, actually. The specific, distinct sounds of two people who had arrived in the world with very different approaches to existing in it and had been developing those approaches with considerable enthusiasm across six months of practice. Luna's sound was focused — the specific, purposeful vocalization of someone who had identified a thing they wanted to communicate and was applying herself to the communication with complete seriousness. When Luna had something to say, you knew you were being addressed. You knew it was important. You knew that looking away was not

Love Story in Heaven

Love Story in Heaven

“Today, I saw his true form, so he was a unicorn…” Thunder God Rey de Los Lobos was surprised. “Fire Unicorn?” "That's right. That day, when he and I fought, I felt suspicious, but I didn't expect him to be really a fire unicorn." “Lord of Fire León de Fuego, do you still regret the fire unicorn thing? Did you know that if you ignore this today, you will be in trouble later on?”

The Alpha's Runaway Mate

The Alpha's Runaway Mate

Lex sighed again as he saw no worry or emotion on Luis' face. Lex can never tell what Luis is thinking, which makes her uncomfortable at times. It makes her uncomfortable to think about what Luis might do next. Lex had just met Luis for the first time when he applied to be Nexus' bodyguard, and she was no longer at ease with him. His face and voice lacked emotion, making it impossible to tell what he truly feels. What if he tries to harm Maximino and Nexus? That was what she had in mind when she first met Luis. So she did a background check on Luis, and contrary to her preconceptions, Luis' background is clean.

The entrance was blocked with a van. Leo laughed and said not everyone turns but because we need to save the world we blocked the entrance so no one could escape.Suddenly Luis turned to Leo. When he turned his face to Leo there was no trace of tears, not in his eyes or in track marks on his redding face. His eyes were narrowed, rigid, cold, hard at that moment Luis knew he was already far away. Once more Leo was the enemy.

I was no longer going to leave this in the hands of whores or maids. “I can help you find her.” That got his attention. His jaw clenched, a muscle ticking there, but his tone stayed low. “How?” I smiled faintly, though there was nothing soft about it. “Let’s just say I’ve stayed out of the spotlight long enough to hear a few things. The kind of things that don’t make it to your border patrols. And trust me, there is a lot that you don’t know, Liam. You kicking me out just might be the reason to save your little Luna.”
