"Syla, my lil one," she said, her voice like music. "I have come to take you both home." Thorn stepped forward, his eyes respectful. "Goddess, I must inform you that Lyra has been using dark magic to destroy innocent lives, she took Ashley's infant, and tried to kill her," he said, his voice deep and serious. The Moon Goddess's gaze turned to Lyra, and her expression darkened. "You have abused your power and broken the Celestial Laws," she said, her voice stern. "Your punishment will be swift and just."

I asked. “None that can be ready soon,” replied the Goddess. "I can save her myself. Return her to divinity. Make her immortal. But she will not be the Lyra you know. She will be something else. My vessel. My voice. “Forever strung between human and god.” I cast my eyes at Lyra as she sat up, suspended in that awful radiance. Saw the shape of her form begin to melt. Becoming pure energy. Pure power. Losing herself completely.

The goddess said her last word and went off and with this Lyla woke from the trance and saw Alpha Kyrian staring at her face and touching her nose. "You were fast asleep, you didn't even feel me touching you. You look so calm and beautiful. Sometimes I think I don't deserve you." Alpha Kyrian spoke gently to Lyla whose lips could depict a smile as she was blushing beside him.
