Donning the nose mask over my face, I strolled behind Aiden as he clicked the bathroom door open and walked in. A strong, pungent, irritating smell of formaldehyde fills my nostrils. “Fuck,” I cursed softly under my breath. Despite wearing the nose mask, I could perceive the stench so strongly. It made me wonder how Aiden was coping at all without the nose mask. The smell became the least of my worries when I spotted Mr. Higgins, my previous neighbor's dead body, afloat in the bathtub. His body was leaned back against the tub, head raised high as if looking at something, but the irony of it all was that both his eyes were plucked out.

The articles called it an up and coming, contemporary art museum—housing five floors and over a thousand international works. Sylvia boasted that it was the new artistic hub for the city. To me, it looked like a massive sculpture. The building was a conversational piece. Shaped into a massive glass hat, it took up two blocks of Independence Avenue.

When his hand touched Silas's face, he immediately lost his momentum. "It's you?" "Of course! How dare you hurt our Miss? Do you want to die?" Silas threw a punch at Mad Hatter's face. Mad Hatter's face was immediately splattered with blood and one of his eyes had been crushed. One of his eyes was injured, his face was bleeding, and one of his arms was completely disabled. Mad Hatter felt incredibly desperate. If he knew that he would encounter Silas, he would not take the job no matter how much money he was offered.

I blink repeatedly, trying to free my eyes of sweat which is breaking out all over my face and body, faster than it's ever done before. I gather myself and watch as the mad hatter holds a five liter plastic container in the air and pours out some of the content all over his body. He pours the remaining onto the floor and I don't understand what his insane mind has conjured up this time.

"Host, I'm begging you. You're the only one who can save this world now." The glowing orb trembled in front of me nervously. "Jessica has gone insane and is attempting to blow up the world's core. She said that if she doesn't see you, she'll take everyone down with her." I sat in the void as I watched the flickering lines of data on the verge of collapse.

Misha smiled. “How? He’s not a student there? They won’t let him in even if he is accompanying me. I don’t have A dress, or anything. I'll stay in my dungeon, thank you.” She said turning her back on Misha, indicating for her to leave. Hearing the door shut behind her, waiting till the footsteps were gone, slammed the rest of her espresso, she threw the cup at the wall so hard, it shattered into tiny little shards that littered the floor.
