Maddy pursed her lips and looked back and forth at the photos with a disdainful expression, and then looked at her face in the mirror, revealing a self-satisfied expression.

ANDRIUS WAS indeed right in his instinct that he will not like the model that Mr. Monde mentioned yesterday. She smiled brightly, her eyes crinkling at the corners. The bottom right corner was stained with dark red marks. He rubbed hard but could not wipe them away. It was not mud but blood, long dried and blackened, soaked deep into the photo paper. He suddenly remembered that a foreman had called him once, saying a crazy woman had come to cause trouble. And how had he responded then?

He didn’t think this time the bloodsuckers would be so easy on them. “Well, that’s not fair.” Madison made a pouty face with his confession of only alphas having the gift of blocking. “Wait.” She pulled on his hand and turned around. The next morning Maddie woke up with a shock. For a moment she did not know where she was until she recognized the open doors that led to the balcony and heard the sound of the twittering birds. Eighteen years old, it shot through her and she felt a strange tension in her stomach. Omem had made a special tea for her, which she drank before going to sleep. A mixture of marigold, elderberry, and anise, sealed with a ritual spell. Among other things, it was supposed to help her refresh her mind.

Her nervous face seemed relieved. After seeing it, I started eating again. While chewing the juicy steak in my mouth, I suddenly remembered the girl with a mask. The one and only Magda. I stopped eating and leaned my back on my seat. I remembered that Magda is living in the village where Angela lives. The village is small so it's possible she knew the mystery woman. "Angela..." I called out. She looked at me and stopped eating. "Yes, Clark?" she asked. I took a deep breath and released it slowly.

Damien had his hand across Madison’s shoulders though, licking of the creamy pudding from her face and sneaking kisses here and there while Alvarez jokingly mocked them. "Ooh! Look at that! A photo booth.” Madison squealed, gripping them both and before they could even say anything, she dragged them off toward the booth. The attendant gave them a weird look seeing the way they were all scattered, looking jumbled at the same time but Madison didn't seem to care. "We're literally covered in sugar, Maddie. Oh stop this!” Damien complained although he still stared at his girlfriend in admiration, the smile on her face adorable and making her look more then gorgeous at the same time.

Jenna was very concerned at this point. "Jenna, I don't know if this might sound weird, but..." She turned, facing Jenna, confusion written all over her face: "This painting bears a striking familiar aura... One that I can't seem to shake off." She paused, moving her gaze back to the portrait. "Madison, talk to me; now I'm getting scared. Is there some sort of dark magic embedded in it?" Jenna asked innocently, her heart racing with a lot of negative possibilities. "What aura are you talking about, Adi?" She tilted Madison's head in her direction, holding her gaze.
