The Pack's Triquetra

The Pack's Triquetra

“This looks like fun.” “The only way to drink tequila,” Cameron sat back on to his heels. “Though it was missing lemon and salt.” “I’ll slice the lemons,” Heath chuckled and walked over to the table, making room. “Aislen, you know where the salt is?” Aislen retrieved the salt from the cupboard and knelt opposite to Cameron. Cameron dipped his finger into the tequila and drew a line down Rhett’s body. “The salt will stick better,” he told Aislen as he dusted it over the line. “Lemon juice works just as well.”

Fantastic follow up to the first book. I keep going back to the first one to reread the corresponding chapters. It’s so good to see all the perspectives. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Such a clever way to present a story. I’m hooked. I’ll read anything this author puts out at this point.

STOLEN HEARTS : A Billionaire's Deceptive Love

STOLEN HEARTS : A Billionaire's Deceptive Love

I ask as I head to the bar and grab two glasses and a mixer. “Uuuu, are you a barista or something?” she asks flirtatiously. “Well, I know a thing or two. I will make you my favourite drink. Some Jose Cuervo tequila, pineapple juice, pineapple syrup, some ice, and top it off with my secret ingredient, a pinch of lemon, perfect,” I say as I mix everything while giving Ellie a show as I dance around with the mixer. She laughs and her laughter sounds like music to my ears. I serve us both and head over to where Ellie was. She was still seated on the kitchen counter, watching me with her angelic eyes.

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

He looms over me, his shifting face settling into mine. *"You are a relic,"* he says, his voice dripping with disdain. *"A broken instrument, out of tune with the world."* I spit blood, my vision swimming. "And you're a hack." His baton rises, lightning gathering at its tip. *"Goodbye, Stormbearer."* Eden's voice cuts through the storm. "Hey, *Maestro*!" The Maestro turns, and Eden slams into him, his scars erupting with gold light. The melody in his veins surges, a cacophony that drowns out the storm. The Maestro stumbles, his baton slipping from his grasp.

Crazy Adventures

Crazy Adventures

I looked her over, anticipating a great view, but she had her legs demurely crossed. Robin sprinkled some salt on her hand, licked it and took a drink from the bottle. You could see the surprise on her face. "Wow! That's the best tequila I've ever had. I swear it's like a single malt scotch!" "El Tesoro Anejo, it's been sitting on my shelf for the last three years. Not the best but pretty damned good." I informed her.

The EX-Wife Returns

The EX-Wife Returns

“Jefa, the steel pipes are strong too. The copper is a waste of money. We could use that money for other things.” “We are building something that will last,” Calla said, not looking at him. “We are not cutting corners. We are showing everyone we are the best. The best tequila. The best building. The best everything. That is how you become strong.” Down in the basement, it was quiet. A man in a white coat was waiting. He was the chemist. On a table was a small glass and a bottle of the special tequila. “Is it ready?” Calla asked.

The Rogue Kings I

The Rogue Kings I

“Ladies, Gents, fangs, fairies and furries, today, our little trio of bar owners had a bit of a bet. It wasn’t that someone lost but the severity of the punishment.” I smiled as he continued. “The bet will remain a secret, however, the punishment was having to take shots of this.” He held up the bottle of tequila. “This is Monte Alban Mezcal or better known as the worm tequila. We have to take shots based on our…performance.”

This story pulled at every frickin string of emotion. I had started questioning myself if I could make or come to terms with those same decisions. Tbh, I am still unsure. The author had done amazing job writing this extremely thought provoking story! I can't wait for what book 2 will bring!

TEMPT ME, MASTER

TEMPT ME, MASTER

The clack of the metal made me shiver with excitement. "My father's prize collection," I whispered, my breath forming a little mist in the cold air. "And tonight," Dominic said, stepping close so I could feel his heat, "you are the only prize I care about." Dominic walked over to a large wooden table in the center of the cellar. It was used for wine tastings, but tonight, it had a different purpose. He reached out and grabbed a bottle of expensive red wine. He didn't use a glass. He just uncorked it and took a long drink before handing it to me.
