The mastermind behind the threat message and theft was related to whoever sent Mia's father months ago and might possibly be aware of my marriage. Although it might just be my thoughts, I know in the Mafia world, when someone fails a mission, they are either killed or punished and Mia's father had successfully passed that odds. That's why I don't want anything befalling Mia's family, at least not while their daughter was still in my possession. At exactly 6pm, we alighted from the helicopter. A group of men cladded in dark grey coats assembled at the entrance of a huge building. A man amongst the cladded men came forward, ushering us into the rundown building in a secluded area.

They stalked the halls, cleared the rooms, and gunned down anyone who dared stand in their way. Finally, they reached the heart of the mansion: Lorenzo's throne room. The rival mafia boss sat on his throne, a scowl on his face. Rafael and Alexander aimed their guns at Lorenzo. "It's over," Rafael said, his voice cold and deadly. Lorenzo sneered, his eyes calm; he was not afraid. With a nod, Rafael gave the signal, and his men moved forward, surrounding Lorenzo. The rival boss was captured, and his reign of terror ended.

Kyle died many years ago while doing his mission and now his daughter is a doctor. The daughter of Kyle is the perfect person to treat Sebastian because she knows all the ropes of the FBI and she is trustable and won't reveal their secrets.

Turning to face me, he said quietly, “I need you to go on a mission with me.” I blinked at him. “A mission? What mission?” “You’re going to act as the long-lost mother of another mafia don,” he said simply, his voice calm, as though this was a completely normal request. I stared at him, waiting for him to laugh and say he was joking. When he didn’t, I folded my arms, the cardigan sleeves itching against my skin. “Why? Why would you need me to do that?”

He was working on his laptop. I had to convince him not to take me with him nor he should go. I had heard, mostly the Mafia stayed there. Once I went there, there would be no chance of me coming back in my life. I didn't dream such a pathetic and horrible life for me. He never raised his hand, but I couldn't trust him as he broke my hand once and the second time he wrapped his hand around my neck. After all he is the Mafia himself. I glanced at him. His eyes were fixed in his laptop and files.
