Matteo nodded. “Kaid’s idea, I think. Trying to smooth over tensions between the packs and the elites. Everyone important will be there.”
“Exactly.” I tapped the photo, my eyes gleaming with anticipation. “Including Damon and his little project. And that’s where I’ll make my move.”
Matteo frowned, his casual demeanor slipping slightly. “What kind of move, Trisha? Damon’s not stupid. He’ll see through whatever you’re planning.”
“That’s the beauty of it,” I said, leaning forward. “It won’t be me making the move. It’ll be someone else.”
