The two women stared at each other for a minute. “OK,” Rita said finally. “OK, honey. I offered. “No, I'll pass,” she replied. “I am only here to thank both of you for your hospitality during my stay here. I had fun and I felt special…” This sounded like farewell. Julian didn't make a sound. It seemed as if he had expected that. Did they have an argument yesterday? Maybe that was why Julian wasn't alright. “What is happening here?” I had to ask. “I will leave today,” Maggie replied. “I spoke with Sally last night and she already found an apartment for me. She will come later today and help me move. I was happy while this lasted.”

“Geez watch where you are going!” Blood rushed through Maggie’s ear as she pushed a door open. It led to the kitchen and the working staff were surprised to see the blur of a running woman as she tore wildly through the kitchen maze. The staff jumped out of her way gasping in surprise only to scream when 8 bouncers came barreling through. “Don’t let her get away!” they screamed. Maggie’s heart pounded in her chest as she ran toward another door. When she opened it, she almost ran into a couple making out. They jumped out of her way and she made her way toward the parking lot hoping to find Caleb waiting there but there was no Caleb.

She got up and sat on the bed. "Alyssa, maybe the news that was spreading back then about Sir Gregorio was true?" Maggie said with a serious face. Alyssa immediately turned her head. She walked closer to her friend. "About missing students?" She seems to get what Maggie means. Maggie nodded, she stood up. She approached the door. "Where are you going?" she wondered. "I'm just making sure the door is locked, maybe someone can hear our conversation," Maggie replied. Maggie went back to bed and sat across from Alyssa. They went back to the topic they had stopped.

I only hope that in the next life, I won't let him down. I closed my eyes in agony, forcing back the tears that threatened to fall. Maggie POV I was trying to get into the office without anyone noticing me, I’d been away for a week and really wanted to slip back into work with no drama. I couldn’t take much more, I was fighting the urge to run away almost every day and it was tiring. The hope of sneaking in dissipated when their scents hit me. They were here and I suddenly feel my stomach lurch, their Omega too. This wasn’t going to end well.

That day, he merely wanted to relax a little bit, which was why he refused to answer her call and even switched off his phone. He never thought that Maggie was calling because her mother passed away. Even later, he knew nothing about this at all. Remembering how much Maggie relied on him, he felt extremely guilty. He couldn't bear to imagine how much she needed him back then. "How did-" Wesley sounded panicked, like he never sounded before. "How did Maggie's mother pass away?" The doctor replied, "Her heart suddenly stopped. She seemed to have received a photo. When she saw it, her heart just gave out."
