Words eluded him, after he'd said her name with so much surge of emotions. But then, the thoughts came. The hopelessness. The possibility that this could be another god-damned mirage. Another trick to get him at his edge. Another lie. Another reason to leave him more sullen. But as much as Arthur tried to convince himself that this was a mirage, it wasn't working. The voice was so vivid. And this time, he'd found someone who seemed like she owned the voice. His shaky fingers grabbed the shot glass and he took its content in a quick draught. Dizziness crawled up his eyes, but he definitely shook it off.

Their hearts were broken and they were still in shock from everything that had happened. She hesitated no longer to pick them again and straightly checked the phone for the time - it was one o'clock in the morning. She looked at the painting, The Via's Masterpiece - It was the same painting that her hallucination brought her inside a while ago. This type of painting is called hyperrealism, the kind of painting that she devoted most of her time to achieve perfection for this art category. She placed the canvas on one side of the wall and positioned herself on the other side of the wall to study her creation from a small distance. The portrait of the young woman placed on grasses and flowers and the background of the two mountains similar in size and a flowing river look lifelike.

“The fragments are still scattered.” She glanced around the room. Rusted machines sat like corpses in the corners. Old IV bags hung from broken poles, long since dried. The walls were vandalized with graffiti, some crude, some mournful. But others... others were not random at all. Some were patterns, symbols, or runes. On the walls were runes in old languages, glyphs drawn with ritual, like desperation mixed with magic. “This doesn’t make sense,” she said, voice trembling. “Magic isn’t real. It’s fantasy. Hallucination. Mass psychosis. None of this - none of you - is real.”

He looked up at the night sky, which manifested strange visions, and said, “The round moon rises up on the sea, a white rose takes shape with a thought, and a spectacular performance by the beauties from the Golden Age! Tyr’s vision is capable of affecting reality. Is it possible that…?” A terrifying thought came to Magus. He clenched his fists and tensed his nerves. He seemed very excited. “This guy may have entered the Mammet realm!” “The Mammet realm!” Max’s pupils also shrank abruptly. “Isn’t it impossible for Boss to enter the Mammet realm in a short time? We had to be cautious, for the line between reality and illusion was blurred. We cautiously began to explore our surroundings, taking in the surreal beauty of the landscape. Vibrant flowers bloomed in impossible hues, and towering mountains seemed to defy gravity. But beneath the picturesque facade, there was an undeniable sense of unease, as if the very fabric of this virtual world was pulsing with hidden dangers. As we ventured deeper into the simulation, the environment shifted, mirroring the thoughts and emotions buried deep within our subconscious. It was as if the simulation could tap into our minds and conjure our fears and desires with startling accuracy.

Liam questioned. “We can make our own reality!” his other self screamed. RUMBLE! The world they stepped in suddenly shook from the echo of his scream. Liam’s eyes wavered. He realized even if this place looked very real, his parents were exactly how he remembered they were... but everything else... This world that was full of smiles and colors, the blue sky, the music... Was never happened. It was all fabricated... and it was all fragile. One snap of his finger... and everything could’ve gone into dust... because he was the one who made it. He was the one who fabricated it. He was the one who designed such a world to be perfect.

I say softly. Kai’s brow furrows. “What?” “He was in my dream. Or maybe… not him. His shadows.” He runs a hand through his hair, looking at me like I’m a puzzle even he’s too afraid to solve. “The more power you use, the thinner the line gets between what’s real and what isn’t. If Maldric’s magic is tied to you somehow, he’ll use the rift to twist it.” “I can control it.” He laughs, soft and broken. “That’s what he said, too.”

He looked like someone watching the sky fall. I clasped my hands behind my back. “You are welcome.” Marek blinked. “You are dangerous.” I scoffed. “Decorating is not a crime.” “That was not decorating,” he muttered. “That was reality collapse.” “It is improved reality,” I said. Several wolves nodded rapidly, touching the walls in awe and whispering things like “holy moon” and “I might cry.” One warrior held up a sword in awe. “It feels real but lighter.”
